I get all warm inside when I'm able to bring the good-stuff home. These classic 18" Benjamin Flay Cone Porcelain Covered Steel Lights are in impeccable condition. The original Benjamin sockets are also in amazing condition. They are medium base sockets and accept standard household bulbs. According to the old Benjamin Catalog. Flat Cones are best used where light bulb glare is not objectionable and wide light distribution is required. Up to 200 watts are appropriate. The lights were disassembled and cleaned. The sockets were then re-wired and re-assembled. The asbestos gaskets were removed and replaced with ... morenew factory cut gaskets. This is very important. I see a lot of so-called restored lights on eBay sporting the original asbestos gaskets. The heat of the light makes the gaskets friable and ripe for inhalation) The shades are 18 inches in diameter. Here for your consideration is a vintage Toledo industrial Typewriter Table with an adjustable rolling stand. From the 1930s. Item was manufactured by Toledo Metal Furniture Co. UHL Steel. Wheels move freely, adjustment also works well. The top is solid, no veneer loss on top, one piece of veneer off bottom of fold down leaf, shows in the photos. There are a few scratches, and some dark spots on the side. Also the fold down side was loose when I took the photos, so was not sitting level. Tightened up and sits level now. This exceptionally decorative mechanical bellows dates from the 1820s-30s and is built of wood overlaid with heavy sheet brass affixed with numerous round-headed brass tacks and mounted with wrought iron fittings. It measures 22” x 8” x 3 ¼” and presents very well. You will note a hole drilled in the case on the“back” and some missing tack heads. The turbine inside will not make a full rotation: something is blocking it that I was not able to shake loose. It has the original hanging loop on the back that will be great for display. Hoffman Electrical Industrial Control Panel Enclosure, Box, CAT NO A-864CHSCFGW
If your looking at this you know what it is. Used with no holes in box/enclosure. Inside Height 8" X Width 6"x Depth 4" to plexiglass. Hinges are in good shape. Plexiglass is not perfect and does have some minor brushing marks. Lid fasterners are 10/32" SS screws. No weathering. But marks from being probably in a tool box. No manual, no papers, no extra backing plate or fasteners. Enclosure type 4, 4X,12, 13, Brass threaded inserts in box are 4" and 6" centers, Screws needed look like 10/32" Silicone lid gasket in good condition. The box in my opinion is very usable. But you be the judge before you bid. Please ask any questions. I only ship within the United States.
