I have here for auction this Victorian butter dish with lid and fixed base decorated in a floral flow blue pattern. It's 3.75" tall and 6.5" across at the base. There is no damage but it has stained from the fat in the butter from use.This has caused the inside to smell rather unpleasantly( an unusual problem but it has to be mentioned) It may be possible to soak it out,I don't know. The dish smells ok with the lid on. It displays well and could be filled with pot pourri, but I would not like to use it at the table. Flow Blue Pitcher With Cherubs
On offer is a beautiful Flow Blue jug featuring beautiful cherubs on both sides. The blue is quite nice as well. This piece stands 8.25 inches to the top of the handle and approximately 5 inches wide. There are several areas where the glaze has come off the jug but it does not detract from the piece. There is also a tiny chip on the lip of the spout(see photo) and on the bottom there are several areas where the glaze has come off as well. The inside of the jug is stained as well. This is a stunning 6-Piece Gefle Vinranka Tea Service. As it's condition! Produced by the Gefle Pottery Factory in Sweden, founded c. 1910, Gefle is an old name for the Swedish city Gavle. It was eventually bought by Upsala-Ekeby-koncern in 1936 and was closed in the 1970s. Each piece bears the official Gefle Porcelain Facory underglaze blue stamp along with registered nos. and an incised A O. The biscuit plate measures approx. 10 5/8" in diameter. The teapot measures approx. 10" long from handle edge to spout tip and stands appox. 5 1/4" high with lid on. It's widest measurement is approx. 5 1/2" It's exquisite ribbed top border lip measures approx. 5" The creamer measures approx. 5" long from handle edge to spout tip and is 3" wide. This fourteen sided plate has a paneled rim that is divided into four reserves. Each showing the same temple with a wide stairway. The center scene depicts a lady carrying a tea tray ascending a flight of stairs to the left. At the top of the stairs there is a pagoda, and a figure standing nearby. At right center is a teahouse built on a bridge, two tall palm trees and large flower. No imperfections!

6" Flow Blue Plate by Adams dark color impressed mark 1.5" crack on reverse
Here is a great piece of flow blue china with a very dark blue colorway. The piece is 6" across and has the usual decoration around the edge of trees surrounding a country estate with two gentlemen admiring the building from across a lake. The transfer also simulates a shell edge to the plate although it is actually smooth at the edge. Marked on the back with a blue transfer logo that appears to be an eagle holding a banner in its claws. The words on the banner are illegible. There is also an impressed mark with the word Adams and an eagle although the rest of the impressed mark is illegible. The condition is quite good with no visible damage on the front. There is a crack that runs for 1.5" from the rim of the plate to the beginning of the footrim. Near the crack are two very insignificant glaze chips in the rim. You are bidding on a large collection of Flow Blue stamped and other antique blue print dishes. I have more pictures if you would like to view those. EBay only allows 12. These dishes have been in my family for many a years. The Flow Blue dishes as best as my knowledge of them are. They are possibly early 1900's maybe older. The other dishes are very old as well but I do not have a date on those. There are some chips and cracks from age and being used. Since I have inherited them(over 35 years ago) they have only been on display. So the chips and cracks are from many years ago. I do have the additional pics to show the chips and cracks. RARE ANTIQUE ENGLISH ALCOCK CA 1840 FLOW BLUE LARGE SOUP CUP & SAUCER SCINDE
This is the very rare large soup cup and saucer. Not the more common handle-less tea cup. Antique ca. 1840 English deep dark flow blue soup cup and saucer. Made by J& G Alcock in the Scinde pattern. Outside of the cup has 12 panels. Upturned saucer has 16. Amazingly there is no age crazing. Cup measures 3 1/4" in height and 4 1/4" in diameter. Saucer measures 6 1/4" in diameter. Incised is Oriental Stone, J&G Alcock. In flow blue is Scinde. The saucer has a teeny flea bite on the rim. The cup also has a teeny flea bite on the rim and a small chip on the foot rim. No age crazing on either piece. Considering the age, both of these pieces are in fantastic shape. A rare find.
