Here is a jar of Clean Earth Activator. It has been opened and very little has been used. Basically 95% full. This is a 2 lb jar. This powdered acid is mixed with water to produce a mild solution for etching. Brightening and cleaning. Use to clean and activate parts to assure strong metallic bonding throughout the subsequent plating process. Use at room temperature for 30 to 60 seconds. Excellent results for Rhodium Plating when used after electrocleaning step and before Rhodium bath. Note: This solution is not used with a rectifier. Here we have a vintage silver plated set consisting of a spoon and 3 forks. Made by Sheffield Nickel& Silver Plating Co of England, which were in operation from 1877- 1898. The spoon has a lot of wear and use while the forks only have some wear on the back of the prongs(see pictures) One prong is slightly bent. Spoon measures 20cm long x 5cm wide. And I suspect that there will be something of interest to just about everybody. Here's a gorgeous Freed Eisemann NR-405 Neutrodyne radio. Manufactured in the early 1920's in Brooklyn, NY. With a 5-in-line complement of exposed 01A tubes and factory gold plating on its panel hardware(as well as factory gold-filled panel engraving) the NR-405 was Freed Eisemann's largest and most lavishly appointed panel radio. It was clearly intended to be a jaw dropper and, as you can see from the photographs, it would seem to have succeeded in that regard. Condition of this example is excellent throughout. The high gloss bakelite panel is still deep black and highly reflective. ... moreWith no scars, no scratches, no chips and no gouges. The gold-plated hardware exhibits minimal tarnish and no corrosion. Dials are in excellent condition, with no chips or breaks. Condensers all turn easily. Switches work. Rheostats work. Chassis components are clean, original and undamaged. One of the AF transformers has an open winding(electrically not viable) and will need to be repaired or replaced if you wish to make the radio operational again. Cabinet is in excellent condition. With a few scattered marks, but nothing signficant. Comes with 5 good 01A tubes. The radio measures approximately 17" x 15" x 10" with tubes installed) Shipping weight. Properly packed, will be about 30 lb. That's about it. I will package the radio properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years.
