It has a camera to assist in programming the machine. However it is only for the operator's ease of use, and doesn't do on-the-fly centering of the components as some of the newer camera systems do. It comes with 25(twenty-five) 8-millimeter Tape and Reel feeders(which would normally cost at least $2500 by themselves) You can make your own waffle tray holders for SOIC-type chips. The machine operates from 110V so it doesn't require any complicated wiring. And has wheels so that it is easily pushed around on the floor by a single person. It requires compressed air, which I supply from a quiet dental air compressor(not included) so theoretically, you could even use it in an apartment. It works. SMT-8700 Pick and Place. It's mostly here. Even have the PC that goes with it. OS and programs are in Japanese, not really useful to me. Our goal was a DIY pick place using the feeders, vibes, steppers already there and just add in our own controller. Rather than build a Placing machine from scratch we were going for a KFLOP and drive it with G code. The project never got off the ground and we need to clear some space. It comes with 3 feeders bases, and I think 29 feeders. There are a couple of tube feeders and a rotary base. The feeder bases have a single air line and each feed base is electrically controlled. Feeders and bases are probably worth far more than I'm asking, but I want the entire machine to go. You won't be able to just plug it in and run, but it's probably 90 to 95% just needing a modern controller. I'll ... morehelp load it into a truck if you pick it up- highly recommended.
