Beautiful Bohemian Vintage Pedestal Vase in Purple w/ 24k Gold Plating
This is a real beauty. The vase is made in a lovely shade of purple. With rich thick gold plating. The narrowed neck has a delicate scalloped edge, and the pedestal/base is all gold. There is gorgeous gold beading which is all hand applied to the purple glass. At the center of the front of the vase is a red cabochon with hand painted flower petals around it. There is also some pale pink and light blue beading on this area of gold. The vase is a visual delight, in every aspect. It presents in excellent condition, except for one minute spot where paint wasn't applied. This is quite negligible, and in no way detracts from the beauty of this piece. It is not visible without a search; therefore, I am comfortable calling the condition excellent. The vase stands just under 8 and a 1/2 in tall, and measures 11 and a 1/2 in all the way around ... moreat the widest point. The round base is 3 in across, and it weighs just under a pound. This is one of those pieces which is made to be displayed and admired. It truly has a marvelously regal presence.

Occupied Japan Ohata China Teacup & Saucer with Roses & Gold Plating
This is a beautiful porcelain teacup& saucer from Ohata China. Occupied Japan. It has pink rose design in inside and outside of cup with matching design on saucer, each trimmed with gold plating. Cup is white pedestal design and is just over 2 inches tall with a 3 inch diameter opening. The matching saucer is scalloped and is almost 5 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in very good condition without any chips, cracks or crazing. HMS VICTORY COPPER HULL SHEATH PLATING This is an original small piece of Copper Hull Sheath taken from H.M.S. Victory, which was Admiral Lord Nelsons Flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. During restoration this piece of Copper was cut from a large Hull Plate removed due to decay/damage. It comes with a certificate which gives the size and weight of the copper piece. The certificate size is 10 x 15 cm and the piece of original HMS Victory Copper that will be sent is approx. max) 3 cm x 8 cm. See PHOTO. The piece has a nice dark age patina and a hole from the square nail that fixed it to the ships hull. This is a damaged edge piece showing a smooth outer edge of the copper sheet and a jagged damaged inner side. An interesting piece of copper hull sheath from this famous ship. 68
