I purchased this at a local estate sale and it was taped up when I purchased it and I opened it only to take my photos and to plug it in and make sure the unit ran. I plugged it and the light came right on. It appears to have rarely if ever been used. As I was inspecting and testing the unit. I noticed a hairline crack in the focus adjustment knob. I glued it and taped it and it is now working fine. Also, I checked and replacement knobs are available on-line so it can be replaced if ever necessary. The Box has yellowed from age and has scuffs, stains, small tears and tape residue.
