2012 Fischer Watea 88 skis Marker bindings Freeride Powder -- used only 4 runs -
Selling a pair of size 168 cm Fischer Watea 88 with Marker Squire bindings(DIN 3-11) The skis and bindings were purchased brand new and have only 4 runs at Stowe. VT on them. They are"as new" really no different than buying them new. I found one scratch and a few small burrs on one edge which I touched up with a diamond stone. The bindings are properly mounted, center side to side and holes were drilled correctly. The placement is on the recommended center line of the ski for a 25 boot. I would say that they will adjust to fit 24 through 26 and maybe 27, but will check for you if you contact me with your boot sole length. The specs can be seen on the ski in one of the pictures. This is my first time trying 90 mm waist. Mid-fat shape skis, and I have to say that they are phenominal. I thought they would feel slower all around, edge ... moreto edge, but found none of that. They are very quick turning(rockered tip) extremely lightweight, and have a lot of pop thanks to the stiff wood core. They carve really nicely on hard snow and float nicely in the trees. I couldn't believe how much faster they move through the snow; must be the extra width. They are extremely light, especially with the Marker Squires- one of the lightest bindings made, and work very well. Great skis for smaller to medium sized men and women. My pictures don't do the skis justice, they are very nicely designed. The reason I am selling: I want to do some skinning or alpine touring now and feel the longer 178 would suit my size better.
