This beautiful drawing- glued to a large 12 x 16 very heavy cardboard. It is covered with tissue paper. I peeled back part of the tissue so I could scan the original drawing. Brilliant black and white. From the measurements shown- it was to eventually be a 4 7/8" by 7" ad or poster or flyer or cover for a Navy guide booklet. The drawing is in excellent condition. It is a bit age toned but clean. Free of stains with a significant chip to the upper front panel. The price is stated on the inner flat. It has been placed in an Archival Quality clear Mylar jacket protector to better maintain it in the future. The boards are covered in tan cloth with gold printing on the spine and cover plus an ornate"V" on the front. They are clean with a bump to the upper front free corner and moderate wear to the points and ends of the spine but no worn through areas. No creases, tears or fraying. The interior reveals the contents to be clean and tight. End pags are pale yellow. Free of blemishes. There is a gold foil ... morelabel on the Contents page but no other ownership indications, no marks, creases or tears.
