It's items like this that continually amaze me after I have been collecting so long. The fact this survived at all is unbelievable! But not only did this survive. It is still in great condition. Thisis a vintage never used oil change reminder tag. Made of heavy cardboard with two metal hooks to clip on to your car visor. Advertises Valvoline Motor Oil. Approximately 1 1/4" wide by 2" tall in excellent condition. I would guess this dates back to the mid 50's. Possibly late 40's? Comes out of a non smoking home from my personal collection. How cool is this. An original booklet that was manufactured for Quaker State motor oil out of Oil City, Pennsylvania. This little booklet contains Quaker State oil change tabs. The little tabs were put on the car back in the day whenever someone had an oil change. So the tab states what kind of oil they had but it also supplies the service record. Showing that the will filter, battery, air cleaner, differential, transmission, chassis; were all changed, or inspected. I've never seen a book like this before.
