Vintage Norton Two Sided India Oil Stone/Sharpening Stone
You are looking at a vintage two sided oil stone/ sharpening stone in a box made in the USA by Norton Abrasives. This piece features two stones in one. A medium grit and a fine hone on the other side. This stone shows very little usage and is not grooved or worn on either side. It measures 6" x 2" x 1" and is still in the original box. This is a pre-oiled stone, so it takes very little re-application to use. The box has absorbed a bit of the oil over the years, but is still in good condition with no rips or tears For the most part is is still readable as well. Nice for the user or the collector. This is a GIANT COMBINATION NORTON(JIM-2) sharpening stone. Premium Silicon carbide"CRYSTOLON" The stone has seen very slight use. Yes there is a couple of dings on the side(the pictures make them look worse then they are) This is a whopping 11-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 1" and weigh's 2-1/2 Lbs.
