London ARC Light WWII Guide Paper 1945 Collectible
Auction is for a single page WWII paper. It is called London ARC Light. I was told at the auction where I purchased this item that these papers were handed out to American military personnel as a guide to"acceptable" night spots. The date on it is July 28. 1945. The front side is a map of London showing night spots. The back side lists events for that week. Since these were handed to GIs in London, I am assuming that it was printed in the UK, but I do not know this for certain. The paper has been folded and the paper at the folds is just a little weak. It is a little delicate due to age(going on 68 years old) and I will package it accordingly. This document has obviously seen some use, but I feel like it's in pretty good shape to be nearly 68 y/o. It seems to be a standard size of paper about 8-1/2 X 10 or some such(I haven't ... moreactually measured it) It is NOT laminated. I had intended to keep it, and I was going to have it laminated, but when I decided to sell it, I thought that the buyer might want it in its original condition.
