Here for sale is my 2006 000-28NB. Adirondack spruce top, East indian rosewood back and sides, ebony bridge and fretboard. This guitar has been well taken care of and has almost no wear at all, the frets are in great condition, the neck is straight, and the action is very low. This guitar has opened up beautifully, and whether finger picked or strummed, it is loud and extremely resonant in all registers. Included on this guitar is a John Pierce ebony arm rest, which keeps the forearm from contacting the top while playing, allowing the top to vibrate more freely and keeping dirt and sweat from the guitar. Mah ogany shell with 30 degree bearing edges measures 18"x16" The Blake Flake wrap was discontinued in 2009 and looks very similar to a black diamond pearl wrap. Al l hardware is in great condition. Some signs of use on the floor tom legs. Wrap is on tight with only a couple of scuffs that are too hard to picture. The cellars measure 1 1/2 inches, the spoons are 2 1/2 long. All are marked Sterling, the cellars have a 64 on the bottom as well. The have a delicate beaded edge. The large spoon is not marked but was used to hold the box open for display and is included in the set. You almost never find these in the original box, the box does show some age, but you would too if you were over 100 years old. Large antique Blake thumb latch with a set of parts. The Blake latch is 10" long. The parts are period to the latch-but not original to the latch. The thumb piece is 3 3/4" long. The latch bar is 10" long. The keeper and staple are period and appropriate for this large latch. The latch is large enough to be used as an exterior latch. Ask questions if interested. Here's another interesting old or antique bottle of about the 1890's. This one is a quart bottle embossed with G. O. Blake's Rye and Bour Whisky" There are two embossed artwork bottles with one having letter GOB. Then other markings"Adams, Taylor& Co. Proprietors, Boston& Louisville" The bottle has a nice aged appearance with some bubbles in the glass from the glass making quality of the period. There is one mark on the back that is smooth to the touch but seems to be an impact mark or dimple and we show this in the pictures. Nice bottle overall. It stands about 12.5 inches tall and is about 3.25 inches in diameter at the base. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest.
