Antique Japanese Tobacco Pouch With Bumble Bee Motif Circa 1870-1920 This is a wonderful Japanese tobacco pouch with deep hand embossed bumble bees and reed grass. The embossing is also hand colored and gold leafed. The inside is fine pig skin with three pokects. One with an embossed brass closure. The leather is NOT dry and is in very good condition. Exterior brass ornamentation is cast in deep brass relief, including the clasp. The antique tobacco pouch measures 6" wide x 2-1/2" high x 1" deep. This is a no reserve auction! World War II British? doughboy helmet w/leather flap
I just picked up a huge collection of WWII and later military items including helmets. Clothing, etc. I know very little about military and will let the pictures do the talking. WW 2 leather flying helmet type C with earphones Barker
Offered for sale is this original WW2 type C leather flying helmet. Complete with original earphones. The leather on the helmet is supple and in good condition with one small scuff. Right hand receiver annotated"REF No 10A/13466. Lightly soiled interior indicating previous use. Correctly stamped with size No 3, 7 1/8-7 3/8 and"ref no 23169" This has the fabric chin strap so is second issue dating to 1944 onwards. The cables on the earphones are perfect. The Bakelite connector 10H/ 735 is in excellent condition. One small fraying spot adjacent to cable connector spring cover. What makes this interesting is that the owners name"R. Barker" is written in pen inside the right earpiece and in the brow of the lining. I've not researched him so this could make an interesting project for someone. Up for sale is a nice pair of Vintage VASQUE GORE TEX Hiking Hunting Mountaineering Camping Work Outdoor Boots. These are made in ITALY. The insides are stamped Women's 10 N which can be a Men's 9 N but please check the measurements for a proper fit. These are listed as Unisex even though they are stamped in a Women's size they can be worn by both. Very Sturdy and Stout pair of hiking boots made of leather with very light signs of scuffing. A few marks and nicks but in very good cared for condition. Leather uppers with a padded ankle. Nice hardware and Vasque Skywalk Rubber soles with light signs of use and soiling but still have tons of life left in them. Sold in gently used condition. The interior is leather and Gore Tex lined, light signs of wear and use. Innersole is padded and molded and in clean condition. lot of 2 vintage motorcycle helmets, 1 has visor and zip in leather ear pads
2 super cool vintage motorcycle helmets! the white on has no makers mark that i can see. It shows wear and tear and it has stickers attached. it may be missing some cushion and it shows some heavy wear inside. the black one is amazing! plastic snap-on visor, it has an airfoil? on top, i am not sure if it is original or aftermarket decoration. it has a zippered in leather set of ear flaps. the leather shows moderate to heavy wear, it has several tears in the leather, but it is in overall great condition! the zipper shows some heavy oxidation, i have not tried to remove it. it has some stickers attached to the helmet. there is a Korean label on the inside, i do not know if it is the helmet maker or the liner maker. HONG JIN LTD. 7-1/8 both helmets are free from breaks or cracks.

Vintage Red Leather Boston Fireman Helmet with Large Brass Dragon Finial
1850's Red Leather Fireman Helmet. To the best of my knowledge would be classed as a Gratacap Co product. 32 combs design. Gratacap was later sold out in 1869 to the more famed Cairns Brothers Co. Many years ago I received this helmet from my great uncle George McDonalds estate. Who in turn received the helmet from his ancestor George McDonald. I did research on the helmet and its owner and will include any and all paperwork on what I have found. Some of the paperwork describes the Boston Mattapan firehouse location, confirming George McDonalds position in the company as Assist. Foreman. Included with the above pictures is a 1857 newspaper remnant found in the inside helmet lining which was in keeping with what was typical in the day to line the inside crown with paper. Fabric liner is intact. Front shield finial is a beautiful large ... morebrass dragon. Old leather Cairns fire helmet with FDNY Truck 79 lieutenant front
This is a Cairns leather fire helmet that saw duty with FDNY; there are handmade markings inside indicating so. There is a metal Cairns medallion inside the crown of the helmet. But I could not find any indication of the date of issue. There is cracking in the leather in various locations. The most notable is at the bend, where there is a small gap. There are some nail heads visible on the tail of the bend. The helmet obviously has several coats of black paint. The metal front holder, as is common, is bent. Attached to the helmet and included in the auction is a leather FDNY lieutenant's front for Truck 79. It is not likely that the front actually saw service with the helmet. OLD Vintage Coty Leather Perfume BOX for Coty Dummy Bottle Must See !
For your consideration is a very nice. Hard to find, signed Coty leather perfume bottle BOX I found at an antique shop in Mississippi many years ago. I do think it's rather old. This is just for the box. no bottle. It is a very sturdy black leather box for a Coty Dummy perfume bottle or factice. This would be for a medium size bottle as the box measures prox 4 1/2 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 4 inches deep. It does have a condition issue with the clasp but other than that. Its in really nice condition. Please view the all pictures to see the close up of the clasp where a portion of the tab of the leather has detached from the press type hinge. I think this might be repaired without too much trouble, but I did not attempt it in fear of making it worse! The inside of the box is so nice! It's lined inside with a gold silky fabric that ... morehas some cushion underneath the top of the lid to protect the contents. The sides are lined as well. But not cushioned or padded as the top is. The box has 2 hinged cloth strips to allow the top to stay open without tilting all the way back. It is signed CotyFrance and DUMMY on the inside. No stains or tears inside at all. Just wonderful for its likely age. Outside of the leather box has scuffs. Rubs and age shelf wear. but basically in VERY GOOD condition with the exception of the clasp/hinge mentioned above. This is an amazing very old handmade Native American Indian Drum. It stands approx 2 0"24" tall and is about 1 0"12" in diameter. I actually am not with the drum as I write this but I think I am very close to the measurements. I will not be with the drum until Friday so I can revise the listing to give exact measurements at that time) It probably weighs about 9-11 lbs. It has blue paint that looks like it was applied around the 1940's. The skin hide is tight and well constructed. The leather straps that tie down the top and bottom stretched hide is nice tight and strong and it has an excellent resonating loud beat. I purchased at an estate sale not long ago. I am not certain of whether this would be called a wheel or pin cushion but it is leather covered for great handling with a silk or some other material hand stitched along the sides that holds the pins. Inside is very solid perhaps tightly packed cotton or some other material. There is some expected wear to some sections of the leather. Most of the very tight stitching is complete and overall I would consider this to be in very fine condition. Included are 4 early pins with a blue toned metal. I am not certain of the tops which almost appear to be black wood but are not. If anyone knows about this type of item I would love to know more as I have never seen one before and believe it to be quite unusual. The gold tone thread case has the original insert with three threads and a needle. These were both travel related mementoes dating to the late 1800s. But could never find the words to express how deeply he loved her. Stitching has pulled away at the trigger guard area,about 1/4" some leather ruffing about half way down front of pouch, otherwise a good older holster. All are minor issues, and the holster is in usable condition and Shows well, See Pics) This holster was made to fit a 51/2-6" SA/DA small frame Revolver i.e. Colt"49 pocket, S/W# 2 etc. Leather is still soft and pliable, not brittle or ripped.
