had an RC person check it and it works fine. takes 4 double AA batteries to run the tank. the rubber tracks are in excellent shape as well as the wheels& gears. its really clean for its age. it is an infrared remote system. no remote comes with it. only missing a plastic tire on the top by the gunner. looks like it might have been glued on the main cannon at one time? these were set up to be able to run multiple tanks at once off of a remote I believe. its makes engine sounds& the top turns and the cannon moves up& down. it is a heavy toy with weight. Even with out the batteries. the on& off switch is located on the back rear. there are no broken rails or cracks/splits on the body. all plastic, no metal. a good item for a collector.
