An Infrared camera remote flash trigger system. Godard and Wein Meter Mate. The Godard fits on the camera and triggers flash using infrared. It worked very well on my Profoto lights as well as my earlier Balcar and Godard lights. I have not tried it with any other systems. There is a two channel selector inside the battery compartment. The Godard has a hot shoe but I preferred to use it with a sync cable and found it very reliable over the years. Godard were a French flash light manufacturer who were really big in the Paris rental studios in the 1990's. They made terrific flash packs and were the Profoto of their day. The Meter Mate can be attached. Via velcro, to a light meter and thus fire the lights via infrared to enable cordless meter readings. it can also be attached to a camera via the sync socket. The Meter Mate once in a blue ... moremoon has a problem with its cable or maybe battery connection- I have never bothered to work it out. Sometimes it may need a twiddle. It was never a big deal for us. These two very useful pieces of kit have been on some of the most fantastic photo shoots of my career and I am not going to knock them that much because they always did the jobs very well when it was expected of them. Canon Digital Rebel 6.3 MP Infrared IR 300D R72 Conversion
Sellers. Categories. This fine thing is a Canon Digital Rebel that has been IR converted. This camera is now designed to shoot Infrared images. The original CMOS hot-mirror cover has been pulled and replaced with what I believe to be a Hoya R72 filter. I know a lot about the process but I have never personally converted a camera to IR. Nor had one done. I believe this was done professionally, but I honestly do not know. The glue marks look good, and the there are no obstructions to the sensor. I can say that unfortunately there are a couple dust specs trapped behind the IR filter, so you will have to deal with them on every image(though some show up more than others, it depends on the tone and position) I do not know if the AF has been adjusted to read infrared light exclusively however I did not have any focusing problems with the camera ... morebody. The camera does show wear to the housing, and bottom plate. The rubberized paint on the hand grip is flaking off. The CMOS sensor is free from dead pixels. The viewfinder is clean. The mirror and shutter look great. The CF card slot is free from dead pixels. The camera ships complete with the original box, manuals, charger, strap, front cap, and battery. The IR effect is quite remarkable. Once properly white balanced(off green) and properly set up for post production I was able to capture some impressive images off this camera body.
