Rare WW2 W W II World War Two Russian Battle Flag (Can be put on Flag Pole)
Description Firstly. I bought this flag at an auction where a Veteran's kids decided to sell his military items. There was not to much story behind it just that he obtained it during the war. And had taken one while they were making them on site. I have had this long enough and I have decided to sell it to see if I could get some of my money back. This flag measures 64 inch by 23.5 inches. I believe if the wrinkles were ironed or something to that effect the dimensions would be slightly larger. I will leave that to the buyer though. This flag has slides on the sides put the flag onto a flag pole on both sides. There are no rips or tears on this flag. It looks to me like the hammer. Sickle, and star are painted on or something to that measure. There are a lot of areas on the yellow parts that are fading away. From other examples I have ... moreseen this seems to be common. This is a great flag that could be displayed easily and would look very nice. From my research I have found a few of these but they rarely pop up. I am open to reasonable offers. Original Bronze Imperial German Eagle Flag Pole Finial w/Display Base - 11" Tall
I purchased this at a flea market in Springfield Ohio last year. It is an original Imperial German(WW1 or slightly earlier) flagpole finial made of finely cast brass or bronze. The base is an old newel post cap that I painted up/distressed to give it a base. The post on the base does not screw into the bottom of the eagle but does the job of holding it upright. Nice detail and a maker's mark that appears to be"F& S" at base of eagle's neck on back. Measures 11" on base so it makes a statement wherever you display. Somewhat heavy and reflected in shipping quote. Please consult scans for condition. Careful packing/shipping is a flat $ 12.50 anywhere in the US. If you are outside of the US. Vintage Authentic 48 Star USA American Flag-3'x5'-w/ Pole & Holder-Original Box
This is a vintage authentic 48 star American flag in the original box and packaging. The flag is a Reliance No. R 35 heavy sheeting US flag. The box contains the 3' x 5' US flag. A 6 ft jointed pole, a gilt ball, rope, and a star holder. It also contains the original directions for assembling it, which is in good condition with a small tear on the side. The outer box has the original postal label on it dated May 28, 1969, and it was ordered from Pontiac Press, in Pontiac Michigan, according to the label. The flag is in very good condition considering the age of the item, and has just a few light water stains and some fading(the white is dull and not bright, and some of the navy is fading) but no holes. The brass holder has a little rust on it, and the jointed ends of the wooden pole have a little rust/stains on them. The outer box ... moreis very dusty and water stained in spots, but the inner box looks pretty good. Otherwise, outstanding condition for such an old item! Great, historic item dating back over 50 years! Awesome, rare find; great collector's item!

Antique NAVAL Military FLAG POLE FINIAL TOPPER Brass GOTHIC Medieval HALBERD
Up for auction is this antique brass flag pole finial in the shape of a gothic medieval halberd. This is a solid piece. Well made with a fabulous age acquired patina. Weighs 3 1/4 pounds and is 13 1/2 inches long. The halberd sits on top of a sphere, under that there is a flattened disk that has 2 holes approximately 1/2 of an inch apart. The bottom column is open and has 2 holes directly across from each other. Bottom diameter is about 1 1/4 inches. A quick google search for halbard finial revealed- The halberd is used for the flagstaffs of flag officers other than the CNO and fleet admiral and for civil officials entitled to a salute of at least 11 but not more than 17 guns. This ornament was used in the US Navy at least as early as 1853. When Japanese paintings show it topping the staff on which Commodore Matthew C. THIS IS BEING LISTED FOR LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY! This flag pole is way too long to ship! This vintage wooden flag pole stands 20 feet 6 inches tall and is really quite spectacular! It is 3-1/2" square at the base. Gradually tapering to an octagonal shape just over 2" in diameter. There's a nice big ball at the top and a metal pulley near the top for your flag rope. It works exactly like a high buck metal flag pole, but it's very old and made entirely of wood.
