These are from when Beaver Dam switched over from the brass name tags to the 1st sticker tags that still had the patent# on them. Tip ups with theses particular stickers are very rare so they are very sought after by collectors. This auction is for 1 tip up with the patent# and the other tip up has the sticker without the patent# You will be able to see the difference in pictures 2 and 3. Both tip ups are in great condition for their age with minimal paint loss in a few spots on the sides. 2 VINTAGE BEAVER DAM ICE FISHING TIP UPS 1 25TH ANNIVERSARY + 1 ARCTIC FISHERMAN You are bidding on a lot of Two Used THE ARCTIC FISHERMAN BEAVER DAM Ice Fishing Tip Ups. One is a 25th Anniversary Tip Up. I would say this tip up is in good but not perfect shape. It has initials carved into it. The flag has a K on it and a little tear in it. There was a little nail on the side that I removed and there also is an eyelet screw in the side. The other Tip Up I think is probably an older one because it has heavy clear coat on it or epoxy. It has a little sliver of wood missing on the side. The round label is a little faded. I don't see anything broke or missing on either of these tip ups. Basically the springs as on all of these tip ups do have a little space in them but they do function and the springs should be turned every once in a while ... moreso they wear evenly. Again. The best aspect is the great condition it's in. I believe this has not been used much and sat in a china cabinet for many decades. It's 3" tall. Nice Blue BEAVER 1/2 Gallon Fruit Canning Jar with Stong Embossing and Color
You are bidding on an a nice Blue Beaver 1/2 Gallon jar. Jar is in good condition with no cracks or stain. The jar does have a very small amount of minimal lip chiping from the grinding process which seems fairly common on these. The embossing is very strong with both the Beaver and the word Beaver. This is the high backed(humped) version with stronger fur and a cross hatched tail rather than the more common stippled beaver and tail that are the same. I am including two different lids to give you can decide what you like on the jar. This does not have the original button lid. I believe the one lid may be a Gem lid because of all the patient dates and was on a Beaver Jar I purchased from Canada. The other was a lid off another Canadian jar. Both lids are in mint condition with no issues. The band is original and has no holes or cracks and ... morefits firmly. I believe this would be a great additon to anyone's collection. I normally only ship to the US but would ship this to Canada after adjusting the cost of shipping to do so. Vintage 1930's Beaver #7 Surgical Knife Scalpel w/3 Detachable Blades Antique NR
I'm happy to offer this great 1930's surgical scalpel and three blades up for auction. This knife was designed by Rudolph Beaver and patent 1916244 was granted in 1933. See the design and patent writup at this link I found this knife in a box I purchased at auction many years ago. The knife has some shelf wear but will clean up very nicely. It is marked"BEAVER" 7" on one side and"PAT.NO.1915244" on the other. the blades have some corrosion on them but they too should clean up okay if you want to.
