Meat Smoker with Trailer for Vending or Catering
I am selling my meat smoker. Along with lots of extras for your catering and grilling needs! I have owned it for 2 years, but only used it for one, before other projects got in the way. I bought it in Kansas City, as a competition smoker. It has been seasoned with cherry and apple wood; it is ready to use! The smoker will hold 5 gallons of water in the base. To provide moisture, and it comes equipped with a drain for easy clean-up. There is a grill-style warming spot on top of the smoker box. It is a large smoker; I've been able to fit 12 pork butts in it- it will do the job great! It has 3 thermometer/temperature guages on it. The smoker is attached to the trailer. Height is 12 feet. Weighs about 1500 lbs. and rides down the road perfectly. It is very stable, no hop or sway. I used this unit as my primary oven when I owned and operated a barbeque restaurant in Connecticut. It would also be perfectly suited for barbeque competitions. High-volume concessions at fairs and festivals, or large-scale catering. In case you sense a theme, the money is in the volume with this smoker! It turns out an unbelievable amount of food in a much shorter time than the oil-can-style smokers that take forever and have to be watched constantly- it is truly a"set it and forget it" piece of equipment that makes everyone who uses it a pro. Additionally. The"shack" wooden enclosure at the back of the trailer provides shelter from the elements ... morewhile cooking and prepping your food. The oven is a Southern Pride model SPK-500 propane smoker. If size matters. It is 71 3/8" tall x 56 3/8" wide x 75" deep. It has an electronic thermostat with a temperature range of 140-325 degrees F. Once you set the temperature and the time, you can walk away and your smoker will convert to a warming cabinet, keeping your food warm until you come back to retrieve it.
