This is a Yale 1900 door closer. Included is one door closer body. An arm, a bracket(which appears to be for parallel arm configuration) an original manual, a bag of screws, and an installation wrench. The pieces seem new or lightly used; there are some superficial scratches and wear which may have been caused by light usage or longer-term storage. An old vintage YALE Heavy Duty Door Closer. I don't know the year or model of this one. Seems to be older than the other two I have listed) This one does have some semi- dried oily residue all over the unit. It is kind of dried up. But will get your fingers and hands dirty when handling it. It can probably be cleaned up quite a bit with a good solvent. It can be re-used, or simply hold on to it for an old collectible. I found this in the garage of a former Locksmith. It just barely fits into a large flat rate box so I'll have to ship it that way. For sale is a vintage door closer made by yale in 1932. The model number is 75 and is much more heavy duty than the#72 and#73. This opener still works and has good spring back. It was painted over at some point over the past 80 years. It flakes off just by rubbing the paint. I'm pretty confident with a good scrubbing and cleaner you could certainly get it back to the original finish. This is the only model#75 I could find on ebay in current listings as well as sold listings. Please see my other auctions as well. I have 4 total of these vintage Yale door closers.

Model 74 Yale door closer dated. 1932. Can be mounted on either side of the door frame, as the mount is reversible and strong return spring action in both directions. Included is the complete arm to mount to the door. Small amount of surface rust on the door arm, but entire unit should clean up nice for powder coating or refinishing. Have included all period correct countersunk fasteners.
