1942 Naturalization Paper and 1954 Social Security Paper Cora Chaganek New York
Here are two documents. One the CERTIFICATE OF NATURALIZATION from January 9th, 1942 and the other a CERTIFICATE OF SOCIAL INSURANCE AWARD, dated October 25, 1954. Both were issued to Cora Chaganek of Binghamton, New York. On the Social Insurance certificate the name is spelled Caganek, and her monthly benefit was 72.10. It was issued by the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare Social Security Administration. The Certificate of Naturalization says that she was originally from Czechoslovakia, but, now living at 9 Berlin St. Binghamton, N.Y. It gives a description of Cora, along with her photo attached to the document. She was living on Jerome Ave. in Binghamton in 1954. She is listed as married, but, the husband's name is not mentioned. The papers have been folded and put into a document holder, so there are creases. There is also ... moresome soiled areas and normal wear from age and use. The documents come in the Certificate of Citizenship folder that I found them in. It is rough around the edges, but, the snap still works well to close it. 2 Brinks Security Paper Shredders
Both in used working condition. Some color fading on both. The smaller of the 2 has adjustable sides and will work on most square or rectangle bucket. The larger one is heavy and will cut up to 5 pieces at a time. There is a safety groove on the back that will stop the shredder from working. It was designed for a special bucket with a groove to go into the space to make it work. It can be bypassed by pushing this in with some type of bypass. Or you could find the bucket for it to snap into. The last picture describes the"notch" best. I do not have the bucket and the auction is for just the 2 shredders.

We inserted a coat hanger through the oil drain plug and lifted the float, which allowed normal shredding operation. However we never saw any gears move under the pump assembly. The residual oil in the line also did not move. The shredder does seem to operate normally with the oil pump disconnected, but makes squeaking noise as though ... moreit is in need of lubrication.
