This clipboard was purchased in Colorado around 1982 and used for a couple of years thereafter. Since then, it has been in storage. Its clip and hinge springs are very strong and still perfectly functional. It's extra long for those legal size documents. Very good condition. Used. But well taken care of. Has a few small imperfections. But totally functional and in great used shape. This was the clipboard/ storage notebook that I used for one season as my football information unit/ carrier for our varsity team. Only used one season before I retired. This is a very heavy duty clipboard constructed of almost 2 full pounds of aluminum. I even kept my iPad Mini in it with the cover on for extra protection on the road. There may be a few very small scratches. Imperfections or tape marks, but really too small to notice. I had a sticker on it with our team mascot. But I removed it and used Goo Gone to get the sticky off. It really cleaned up nicely. I wiped all the surfaces down with Goo Gone and got everything off that I could. Thin and easily damaged aluminum clipboards that don't last and cost around $20. This is one of the good. Heavy duty ones that retail for between $50 and $60. It also has the metal divider that allows you to write on the top page page without making pressure marks on the following pages. To sum it up. It's the right tool for the job.
