The two original Lucite shaft ink pens are included. There is some corking near the nibs that is not in the best of shape. They still fit in the bases though. There is some fine surface only checking in the Lucite surface of both pens. I have not tried to remove the Bakelite ink reservoirs from the glass base. Projects, illustrations of how to use the pens, etc. Also there are 16 pages of lined practice pages at the back of this book. With this book, I will include a tablet of Italic Calligraphy Practice pages. There were originally 50 pages in this practice pad, but the first 5 have been used. Here's a lot of 3 unused Tuckersharpe ink pens. Lever fills with bladders. While these pens exhibit that they have never been used or even filled-guaranteed not rebuilt-they must have been in a desk drawer for a long time as the plastic barrels show varying degrees of damage, the black is quite chipped, the blue has some chipping and discoloration while the red barrel looks to be the most presentable. I'm offering a really beautifully made set of six ink dip pens. They are all marbled, I believe made from a hard plastic material, please see the photos could be another material, have a ceramic finish feel to them. Cannot say I've seen dip pens like these. They have a distinct shape, look to be modern but when you look closely appear to have been used, so could be quite old. Looked all over but cannot see any makers marks, they are fitted with Mitchell nibs, the ones I can see are Mitchell medium centenary1922, and Mitchell 176. The pens seem to be staged different sizes. From 140mm to 148mm, the average weight of each is approx 17 grams. The condition of each seems to be excellent. These come together with four black cartridges and original blue ink Parker bottle which contains ink 3/4 full and of course a box for all three fountain pens to fit in, but I don't think this box is original Sheaffer. We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure 2 antique fountain ink pens. The first we are describing is the WATERMAN'S with the original box. The body is black of a hard material such as French Ivory. Celluloid or bakelite. It has a lined zig zagged design on it. On the pen body it is stamped WATERMAN'S REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. FOUNTAIN PEN. It also has a small round stamped design with the word IDEAL inside. At the bottom of the body it is stamped WATERMAN'S REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. On the aged patina pocket clip it is stamped CLIP-CAP with again the round stamped design with the name IDEAL inside. On the gold colored nib it is stamped WATERMAN'S IDEAL. The nib is in good condition with some ink stains. The aged patina metal lever that is used to bring the ink into the pen is stiff and does not move. Again on the end ... moreof this lever it has the round stamped design with the name IDEAL. The box is in fairly good condition. It has some of the surface paper missing on the lid and a little bit on the side that has the patent dates from 1906 to 1908. The underside of the lid and inside the box has ink stains. With the cap in place it measures 5 3/8” long. It is about ½” thick. The other pen is also black with pointed wavy designs. It is also in a hard material as the same mentioned above. On the silver toned pocket clip it is stamped PAT. SEP. 5-15(with the 15 standing for the year 1915) Below this date it has the name PARKER stamped in. On the side of the main body it is stamped GEO.
