I found no maker's name and the only number I saw is on the nib(87) Included in the set is a letter opener; a wax stamp seal; an ink eraser; the fountain pen and what looks like a pencil(but I can't get the lead to advance but didn't force it either) The color is a royal purple(hint of cobalt blue) with an ivory or cream tone accent. The blade on the opener; the ink eraser and the bottom of the seal look to be brass as does the nib- not sure. They all appear to me to be in excellent overall condition. But, I am selling the set as used, since I do not know. The lining in the box top interior is fraying at the hinged center and there is minor ecterior handling wear. BEAUTIFUL set! Up for auction is this antique marble desk set consisting of a dual inkwell base. Letter holder and ink blotter. The marble is white, with grey and gold veining. The base, with recessed pen/accessory well, is 16 3/8" wide and 10" deep. The base marble is 3/4" thick and stands on four 1/4" brass feet. The brass-hinged inkwell compartments are 2" tall, 3 1/2" wide, and 2 1/2" deep, and contain removable ink cups(with some chipping as seen in photo) Included in the set are a marble ink blotter(with a wooden rocker) and a letter holder, with three brass dividers. The pieces are in good condition. There is a chip on the underside of the letter holder at one of the brass attachments. The total weight of the three pieces is approximately 16 pounds.

This is the larger of the two paper racks made in the pattern. The zodiac signs are extremely pronouced and distinguishable with very sharp clean crisp lines. It is very rare to find a zodiac piece with such prominent zodiac signs. The acid etched gold finish has aged very strongly into a nice dark golden brown. Up for sale is. A Remembrance Electric Clock and matching Ash Tray Desk Set By Brown And Bigelow( B&B) Remembrance of St. Paul MN. These are unique 1960's Space Age items. Here is some more information. The electric clock features the Earth which rotates around as the second hand at 1 rpm while the gold colored'satellite' circles the earth indicating the minutes and a red slotted hand lines up with the white lines inside the case to show the hours. The original two prong power cord is still in good condition and I have left it plugged in for a few hours and it did keep good time.The black plastic housing does show some light scuffs and the lens is in good condition. The clock is about 4 3/4 in diameter. The ashtray is very clean inside and out and has the same earth design as the clock. There is a name engraved on the brass ... morepush lever and a company name on the bottom. When you push the lever the metal clam shell parts open to drop the ashes into the removable base. Handle d Ink rocker(blotter) that has the original metal insert. A divided stamp box with lid, ink well with porcelain insert/rubber cover and finally the tray. Vintage employee award from Gulf Oil given for 20 years of service. This trophy has a metal replica of an antique gas pump painted Gulf orange with a round"GULF" logo on top. The clear plastic"dome" is graded from 1 to 10 gallons on both sides. The gas pump is mounted to a wood base with a swiveling pen holder off to the side. Antique19th Century French Bronze Sculptor Albert Marionnet -Bacchanel Desk Set
Albert Marionnet was a French Bronze Sculptor who was born in 1852 and died in 1910. His pieces have become very sought after and have been presented at many pregitious auction houses including Sotheby’s and Christie’s. This Bronze double ink well desk piece measures 14 1/4" x 7 1/2" and weights over 11 lbs. The glass inserts are still in wells. It deplicts a bacchanel wind god covered by leaves and grapes blowing out wind. When taking the measurements I felt a little uneveness on the corder side of wood and have indicated that in my pics. The matching tray measures 11" x 2 3/4" and weight a bit over 1/2 lbs. Fit into solid crystal bases. Mirrored dark wood tray with 3 compartments. Measures 12" x 5" x 1 1/4" tall. 4 round feet underneath to protect desk surface. There is some discoloration to mirrors. Wood is in great shape, no scratches, minor wear on one bottom edge. There is also a solid crystal paperweight. Has a small fleabite. See photos. One of the crystal pen bases has chips on the top. Because of all the crystal cuts, hard to see. Box is lined in grey satin. Each piece fits nicely inside. Lid of box reads Waterford crystal. Some minor wear to outside of box.
