Very early 1/4 strike clock movement with Crown Wheel escape mechanism. It's ticking away but obviously needs the center shaft repaired. One hammer arm also is broken but repairable. Early construction with the barrel for the mainsprings. The barrels with tabs mounted to the front plate. It needs repair but they are simple enough and the movement is a good example. Crown sterling silver weighted compote bowl 6 1/2 dia. x 2 3/4" tall
The item for sale is a vintage Crown Sterling Weighted compote bowl measuring 6 1/2 inches in diameter by 2 3/4 inches tall. This is in good overall condition with a tweek in the silver(see pics 2& 3) near the center of the bowl in a triangular shape. The piece is in need of a polishing. This is being sold as is.
