Hitachi C8FB Sliding Compound Miter Saw
You are seeing an older Hitachi slider that is set up to cut accurately. The wood fence just adds some height so that crown can be cut when held upside down against the fence. Cut wider crown using compound settings available online. The blade brake works. But slower than when the saw was new. Blade tilts only to the left. Dust bag is missing and not replaced as I connect a shop vacuum when using the saw indoors. The blade is a Forrest Chopmaster that was recently repaired and sharpened by Forrest at a cost of $45.00. It has made less than 100 cuts in trim. I have never found a smoother cutting blade. Including Freud, DeWalt, etc.
