But this one’s large, clear and easy on the eyes, which we really appreciate. There are nine positive ... morestops: 0 degrees, and left and right at 15, 22.5, 31.6 and 45 degrees, and bevels can be set from 0 to 45 degrees left and right. Capacities are great, too– in the upright and center position, the saw will cut workpieces up to 4-1/2 inches high and 12-1/8 inches wide. A 45-degree left bevel still lets you cut stock 2-5/8 inches high and 12 inches wide, accommodating even the widest trim and moldings. The only thing we’d change on this model is moving the rear bevel lever up front, but it’s not a big detractor. Makita 12" Sliding Compound Miter Saw With Dewalt Blade
Very good condition sliding compound miter saw. This is a double bevel so it will tilt both ways. I bought a new Festool Kapex for 1.400.00 so I'm selling this for what I can get out of it. It has a nice flip fence on the left side. I bought the optional sub fence for the right side. It is quite tall and offers very good support. It is easily removed for bevel cuts. The 15 Amp Direct Drive motor is electronically controlled and has soft start. The miter table operates very smoothly as do the linear slides as they ride on ball bearings. It is a much nicer saw to use than A Dewalt. Everything about this saw his great I just decided I wanted the Festool because it has amazing dust extraction and I have fussy customers. I have 5 miter saws so none of them get a lot of use.
