Strand Length, 32 inches(including string/raffia) Additional information: Most glass beads produced in Europe from the late 1800s to mid 1900s fall into one of three categories: wound. Drawn and molded. Wound beads were manufactured by winding molten glass around a metal rod until it took on the form of the finished ... morebead. 1964 Pre CBS Fender Mustang lead pickup, wound by Abby Ybarra
1964 Fender Mustang lead pickup. Wound by Abigial Ybarra. Jimi's favorite winder who worked at Fender for over 50 years, until the early 2010s. Yellow ink stamped date on the top black fiber board. Stamped AY Nov 19 1964. In Nov of 64, Fender was not yet sold to CBS. This pickup had just changed to the light Gray bottom and there was a wire change for the bright copper Formvar to the sort of purplish enamel wire, that was used from 1964 until 1970. Original windings. Non original Fender# 3 cover. The black lead is 4 1/2 inches long. The white lead is 5 inches long. Reverse wound, North polarity. The pickup reads 6.97 K ohms n my meter, very stout for a Fender pickup.

Custom Vintage Rat Fink w/Seymour Duncan SH1 MJ Juarez wound 59BJ and 59N J
Rat-Master Jazzrod Vintage and Custom This is a custom built guitar. It is not a Kramer. It has 2 Seymour Duncan 59s. Both were wound by Marciella Juarez in the 80s. The pickups sound great. The neck is from a Kramer Striker 400 ST. It has little wear on the frets and has a smooth back-side. The origin of the body is unknown. The finish on the body is a metallic white. The pinstripes look great. The Rat Fink decal has been clear coated but not sanded flush. A Leo Quann Badass bridge was mounted directly into the wood. It works fine without an issue but it could maybe use the threaded mounting pieces in the future The neck cavity is slanted on this body. A shim was implemented and the guitar plays well. You may want to consider another alternative a or a better shim. Up to you. But the guitar currently functions very well The electronics cavity ... morecover on the back is a home-made version made from a thin sheet of plastic. It does the job. There are some scrapes and chips in the finish typical of a vintage guitar. This guitar is being sold as-is. This is a limited production"HOT" wound 16D size front drive armature. It was made in the mid to late 60s in the California bay area by SVP enterprises and sold only in that area. The shaft. Oversize plates and"no blow com" used were new production made by Mura and purchased and wound by SVP. That said this unit is technically not a"rewind" The most common wind was 30 turns of 28 ga. wire which produced.5 ohms of resistance. It requires a hot controller to avoid a melt down.
