SEVEN VINTAGE PRECISION WIRE-WOUND RESISTORS. 12.5K OHMS, 1% CP 1/2, USED. These are high quality vintage precision resistors. They are marked with a winged arrow in a diamond. But I am uncertain which manufacturer this represents. They are sealed in an maroon medium and measure 5/8" long by 3/16" diam. I found these resistors about 30 years ago while cleaning out a scientific laboratory. They had been used. But the wire leads had been desoldered and some were shortened. I kept them thinking I might have some use for them, but have finally decided that they are surplus to my needs. They have been tested and easily passed the tests. These vintage resistors are rather rare, so my price is quite a bargain. Their high precision value makes them especially worthwhile in circuits demanding stability. Package weighs 2 oz. Please excuse any reflection you may see in the glass or metal of this clock- it was tricky to shoot! This is a lovely vintage LINDIN WESTMINSTER CHIME wall clock. Solid wood cabinet. Kye wound, and it has a swinging pendulum with a wood grain finish on the arm. This clock runs very well and it chimes on the 1/4 hour, and sounds off the hour at the top of every hour as well. The chimes could use some adjusting as the clock had been sitting for awhile before I got it. I'm not sure when they last were running. They sound off like they should, when they should but they are set a little soft. The manual tells how to adjust for a louder sound and I leave that choice to you. The clock was in a very small hallway and was tuned to a softer sound. The manual with this clock is from the company it came from but it shows a different clock on the ... morecover. It will tell you how to set and care for this clock, and how to adjust the chimes, and the running speed as well. The original key is with the clock too and you have three holes in the face to wind. There is a decorative sphere of the earth on the top of the face that reads"Tempus Fugit" The name LINDIN appears on the face under the 12, and the numerals are Roman. There are some light scratches on the face from past use. It has a real glass front door that has been hand painted to read"WESTMINSTER" There is a panel in the back that you remove to get to the works. The works are German made by the CUCKOO COMPANY MFG. CO. INC. 3ear41-020, 35cm over 112) and the number 80(I believe this is the year made) There is a gold metal plaque on the back that reads"Alex& Ruth Christain Family McAllen Texas, August 2, 1981" I'm guessing it was a gift! The clock runs perfectly and the speed adjusts fine. It does show minor wear from age and use(like the light face scraches, and there are some flecks of missing black paint on the inside of the glass) just small expected signs of use. This is a Precision Lockheed wire wound Potentiometer(made by Lockheed Electronics Company) It is rated at 5k ohms +/ 3% The resistance is aquired by 3 shaft revolutions. Linearity +/ 0.1% E143107C I do not know what the above E number stands for. The accuracy of the Linearity is quite better than other potentiometers you see on ebay. I get ohm readings throughout the pot's range. Model no. 401962M002(some of the numbers are blurred) I know the number is correct. Since I had several pots that are the 5k ohms from Lockeed.
