Offered is a rare and beautiful framed decorative Batchelder Tile Mosaic Display with Twin Peacocks Drinking at a Fountain. Very well made and framed with 2 3/4 x2 34 inch tiles and wood. The overall measurement of the piece is 20 3/4" x 20 3/4" including frame. The main center tile with twin peacocks measures 11 7/8 x 11 7/8 inches and the surrounding tiles measure 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches. An identical piece now hangs in the permanent collection at the Los Angeles County Museum in the Arts& Crafts Wing. Each tile has been set in mortar with the wooden frame. This pair of mid-century modern end or side tables have tapering pencil legs and faux walnut laminate tops with an inset circle of tiny square mosaic tiles. Dimensionally. The tables are a perfect cubic meaurement of 18" x 18" x 18" One of the tops has a shallow but noticeable scratch across the middle of the circle, and there are a few faint bumps in the laminate, but the tables show only light wear overall. I was polishing the legs when I found that two of the legs on one table actually have an opaque stained or painted finish, while the other legs show their natural wood grain. The solid wooden legs appear to be identical with the same slightly inward tapering attachment base. They couldn't have been later replacements, because there is no possible way the tabletop would have survived if legs were broken off. Early Persian Tile Antique Mosaic Temple or Religious Panel or Frame
According to the pencil notation on back"Early Persian from a Temple 17th. Century W.W. this is most definitely a antique. However it is a micro-mosaic piece that has very intricate design. It is about 15" x 11" and may of been a frame on one side(with damage) and a finely decorated panel on the other. The wood is reddish in color but I don't know what type of wood it is either. This is a nice very old piece from one of the many estate sales and auctions I attend. You have to be the final judge of what this piece is and how old it may be. And. Mosaic Tile Grid-3/8 inch
This is a hard plastic grid for mosaic tiles or glass. Each square is 3/8" and there are 841 squares in all. I actually never used it. But I moved it around a lot and I've had it a while now. To use this grid, simply follow the design of the picture you want and place the color squares according to your pattern in the open slots. You can get designs off the internet if you don't have pattern books. When you have created your picture, place sticky clear contact paper over the grid making sure it sticks well, and then just lift the picture up. Place it on your board full of glue, let it dry and you will have a perfect picture with perfectly even grout lines to fill: Payment expected within 24 hours. Ceramic Delft Tiles with Amsterdam Monuments for Mosaic Tile Projects
Mosaic Tiles: 2 Delft Blue tiles just the right size for many china mosaic projects. I purchased these on a trip to Holland in 1991. It has never been used or displayed. This has been wrapped in tissue paper in the back of my china cabinet and I cant see or feel any defects on it. They are unmarked on the back but they are both glazed with of buildings in Amsterdam. One is the National Monument and the other is the Mutthoren. This is printed on the tiles. Both are printed in the traditional Delft Blue color. The tiles are 2 1/4" by 3 1/4" in size.
