The front has a metal stamp that has the image of a 3 cent boy scout stamp as seen in picture the back has a piece of material to keep from scuffing up a surface. The size of the marble is approx. 2"x3" just 1 ounce shy of half a pound. This would make a really nice gift for someone. The stamp is glued onto the marble so if it evers comes of its easy to fix. Vintage engraved Abraham Lincoln marble statue paperweight block w quote D. Blevins 1971 This is a great Abraham Lincoln inspired piece of artwork and also quite useful as a decorative paperweight for an office desk. In researching this piece. D. Blevins was a St. Louis artist that engraved in marble in the 1970’s. This particular piece has be a bit perplexed. Because I am not certain that it is true marble. It is extremely heavy and lovely. But the finish is so smooth that I wonder if this piece is faux marble? Please look at the close-ups. A large heavy block with engraving showing the statue of Abraham Lincoln as it appears in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. D. C. The quote underneath the image states: We cannot escape history. This is quite a piece of history. It is a letterpress print block of a letter from Frank P. Bauer Marble Co. Manufacturers of and Dealers in Marble Tile and Slate, Chicago, written to F. R. Patch Manufacturing Co. Rutland, VT on March 24, 1923. F.R. Patch manufactured machinery for the marble industry in VT in the early 1900's. It is fastened to a block of wood measuring 8-1/2" X 7-1/8" with tiny nails. There is a number"520" stamped onto the back top right corner in red ink. It has developed a nice patina and is in vintage condition consistent with its age. It is an estate item. Dating from the 1920's and is being sold as is. As I do not know its previous storage history, I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to smoking/fragrance/cooking odors or pets. Here's a great item for the owner of a historical home! This is an original old stone splash block from a 1700s era home- it may date to the 1800s. Used to carry water away from the home- from the runoff of the gutters. These old stones are hard to come by. Looks like it might be made of a white marble? granite? I'm not sure of the compostion. The stone measures about 28 1/2" long- about 10 1/4" wide- and thickness averages about 3 1/4" The stones is carved on the upper side only- bottom is still rough stone as pictured. This is a small marble block to commemorate time served at Castle AFB in Atwater. California. On top of the block is golden plate and on top of that is a blue plate engraved with the profile images of 2 planes(a B-52G that is being refueled) and the words. From the Men and Women of TEAM CASTLE. This is a great little piece of history for military collectors, and especially anyone who served at Castle Air Force Base. It measures approximately 4 inches long. 2 inches wide, and just under 7/8 inches high. There are 4, small, green felt circles on the bottom. There are some rough spots along the bottom edge of the marble; you can’t really see them well, but you can feel them if you run your finger along the edge. Block is 4 3/8" x 3" It appears to be solid marble and has a smooth finish. White with a hole at the top and a ledge at the other end on one side. My mom had many hobbies. One of which was jewelry making and I found this in those supplies. Excellent condition.

this is a vintage(3 piece set) Cutting Board& Rolling pin with Rolling pin stand/holder. The base says"Gourmet Kitchen" on the wood base and has a little chef's hat logo on it. Made of White and Gray Genuine Marble and wood. the block is thick and heavy. Measures 12" by 18" The rolling pin is also thick solid marble and the handles are wood. The handles have minor wear from age and 1 has a small split in the wood as shown in the last photo above. The pin still works great though you will want to take extra care with the handles to keep them from drying out. Block and all marble is in good condition and has no damage. The handle on the rolling pin has the small split in the wood I mentioned above, and the base for the rolling pin has splits in the wood too also seen in a picture above. The tools are about 3-4" in length and each both ends of each is slotted. I'm surmising they were made to adjust some device. I've seen similar tools used in the tweaking of adjustable electronic components but those are usually of a non conductive material. All of these. But one, are metal. The flat piece seems to be a sort of metal emory board for filing or cleaning a surface. The pouch is labeled Block Marble Co. Philadelphia, PA. Hopefully someone will know their use and want to remove them from my possession!
