2007 Billie Joe Armstrong Gibson Les Paul Junior signature model. Gloss white with a real ebony fingerboard. Very well taken care of. It's got signs of play wear along the back of the neck and some light scratches in the surface but just a couple tiny paint dings. Overall very good looking and playing guitar. Original H-90 hum canceling p-90 pickup. Frets are excellent and will not need any attention. Comes with the like it or love it hard shell case. These are getting harder to find in white. 1969 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Clear Acrylic Electric Guitar. Item Description. We were super excited to see this one of a kind guitar come through the Zoo doors: a pre-owned 1969 Dan Armstrong See-Through Acrylic guitar. This has been an infamous instrument throughout Rock history. Played by everyone from Keith Richards all the way up to Greg Ginn of Black Flag, Dave Grohl, and Buzz Osborne of the Melvins- and now we see why.these guitars are tone monsters! Along with the acrylic body. The Dan Armstrong is made of a quartersawn maple neck, a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, 24-3/4" scale length, 12" fretboard radius, 24 frets, Formica pickguard and headstock overlay, a Dan Armstrong humbucker with master volume and tone controls, a 3-way tone switch, and Schaller tuners. The 3-way switch of the guitar allows for some versatility. In the ... more3rd position closest to the headstock. You have the volume tone bypassed except for when it is on 0(so the guitar is on full blast volume-wise) in the middle position both the volume and tone knobs are in engaged wherever you set them, and the 1st position has the tone knob bypassed for a"halfway cocked wah" tone. This can allow you to set your clean rhythm tone in the middle, hit the switch over to instantly get a hot lead sound and then add some color into your solos or leads with the 1st position. The guitar has some scratches and scuffs around the body. With light markings around the neck- however nothing to affect the comfortable feel of the played-in neck. There are some mild areas of fretwear, but nothing that causes any buzzing or note dampening. For a in hand inspection. Please call 352-398-9661 Vintage 1969 Ampeg Dan Armstrong 4 String Plexi/Lucite Bass Guitar We dated this guitar by the pots. 13769. The serial number on the neck(pictured) looks like D803A Just under 10 pounds! This guitar is in great playing condition. But does have its share of cosmetic flaws, that will be noted below. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICS FOR COSMETIC DETAIL. THEY ARE THE TRUE DESCRIPTION. Condition& Flaws Noted: There is normal wear for a played guitar of this age. It has scratches. And marks here and there, the original pick guard has a small piece missing at the tip and was damaged at the jack. It was patched and is sturdy. Original owner engraved a number in the back of the headstock and lightly on the body near the heel. There is some of the original brown plastic covering coming off of the original ... morepickup. Everything seems to be original with the exception of the wood bridge piece, possibly some screws, and of course the patched jack area(see pics) All pots and wiring seem to be original. The fingerboard and frets are in great condition. Everything operates as it should. And has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless listed above. If you feel the set up does not suit you, it will be your responsibility and cost to get it the way that you want it. It will be properly packaged and shipped in a Padded Gig Bag. Early Ampeg Dan Armstrong Bass with case candy
Very nice early Ampeg Dan Armstrong lucite bass guitar. This bass has been in my collection for many years. 010*A is the serial number and I think it's from 1969. It plays like butter with no buzzing and true innotation from top to bottom. The tone and volume work perfect with no scratchy pots. The neck is straight. I never needed to adjust the truss rod, the truss rod cover appears to have not been removed. There is absolutely NO fret wear, they look like new. The bass is LOUD with all the punch of any of my active basses. The only 2 issues are minute cosmetic ones. The pickup has lost some of the brown plastic as most all of these instruments have and a tiny nick beside the pickup. I found some color caulk that matched almost perfectly to patch the missing plastic from the pickup. You will only notice it when you're right up on ... moreit, see picture of pickup. The original case is in great shape, just a couple of scuffs and NO torn or frayed ends. I haven't had it out of the case in 6 months until today and it was in perfect tune with low action, strings will be loosened for shipping. In the case pocket there is a truss rod wrench and an Ampeg envelope with 2 extra rosewood bridges. The depressing Vintage Guitar 2013 price guide price is $2100.00-$2500.00. Here is a Univox'Lucy' Model Bass from the 1970's. It is a cool Japan made copy of an Ampeg Dan Armstrong bass. This Lucy is in very good shape for being about 40 years old. The 2 humbucker pickup configuration makes this bass sound huge- lots of low end! This Lucy has some normal playing wear for a 40 year old bass. But is very playable and sounds great! The lucite body is very clean and so is the neck. Gig bag included. Note- The Lucy bass is a 30" scale just like the dan armstrong model. Ibanez Talman TC630, Ken Armstrong Pickups wood body, with gig bag. Great Player
Ibanez Talman TC630. Hard to find wood body, with gig bag. Great Player This guitar is one of the last in the series of talman guitars from Ibanez. It was made in Korea and there is an important difference between this guitar and the earlier guitars that were made in Japan. This has an. I believe, Ash body. These are far better than the ones made in Japan. The Japanese Talmans used a resin cast body that had wood chips mixed in. The problem with those. And I had one for several years, was that the body wasn't really stiff and it would slightly flex. The last ones, like this one had real time proven wood and they are far better instruments. This guitar sounds and plays great. It is a player grade guitar. It has some chips on the bottom edges that have been touched up. Its hard to see them undless you have the guitar in hand. There is a ... morescratch on the pick guard. Scuffs on the pickups, and some general minor play ware. No trem bar. Overall it is a very nice guitar. It has Kent Armstrong Sky lipstick pickups. These has that great lipstick pickup tones.really nice. Its really fun to play. Comes with a gig bag. The Resoncast on original Talmans was medium-density fiberboard(MDF) Which took otherwise unusable bits of alder and mixed them with resin for a high-pressure compression. This material actually had a very"vintage" sound quality. For pickups, the Talmans used Sky pickups, from Korea. Skys were one of the few pickups at the time that were actually wound as replicas of the original Danos. Talmans also used Sky replicas of'60s mini-humbuckers. The firstTalmans were the TC530. TV750, and TV650, all of Resoncast with bolt-on maple necks. The TC530 featured three of the Sky lipstick pickups and a Vibrato. Great for Ventures tunes. The TV750 offered one lipstick flanked by two of the mini-humbuckers, plus vibrato. Washburn EA9B Acoustic Guitar w Kent Armstrong AGH1 Used but in good shape. Normal wear. I had this setup to play easier. More like an electric. I also had an additional output installed in the bottom strap button position as can be seen in the pic. This output runs the Kent Armstrong AGH1 humbucker pickup. I had this installed to achieve a more electric sound through my amp. It also has its normal onboard pickup and controls for normal acoustic hookup. So basically, I ran two outputs out of this guitar. It is great especially if you are the only guitarist and just gives a more complete and rounded off sound. I now have an Ibanez Montage which is like a hybrid and it is my main player, so I am parting with this. Sold as is. Only ships to within the continental USA. Armstrong Flute 104 - Ready to Play
Up for auction is this fine Armstrong 104 flute(serial# 708929G) This is a used instrument but it is in excellent condition. There are a couple of very minor dings on the head piece(so small the y didn't show up on my camera) and so me typical surface scratches in dic itive of a used instrument. I had it pro play tested and she said the pads sealed good and were fin e and the spring tension seemed to be A OK. She really could not find anything that needed attention. Armstrong Open Hole Model 303 C Foot Silver Head Flute (SN X9649) w hard case
Here we have on offer an Armstrong Model 303 open hole flute with a C foot and a silver head. Complete with hard case and cleaning rod. Flute appears to have been well taken care of and plays beautifully. None of the keys stick and the pads all seem to sit properly. Having said all this I AM NO EXPERT and my knowledge is very limited. The onus is on the buyer to ask specific questions which I will do my best to answer and the pictures provided should be considered an integral part of this listing- more so than the written description. The hinges and clasps are in good working order and the stitching is intact. There is a rectangular"shadow" of residue from what I can only assume was a name sticker. Inside the case the nap to the plush is decent but shows normal wear. I do not know how old it is or if it is considered a student or a step up flute(if you know and wish to share your knowledge. Wesley (Steinberger/Dan Armstrong"Plexi" guitar
This is a Wesley plexiglass guitar. Sort of like a three-way cross between a Dan Armstrong, a Steinberger"cricket bat" and a travel guitar, and its an awful lot of fun to play! It is unencumbered with a lot of extra gadgets. Gizmos and frills, having a hard tail body, a bridge position humbucker and a volume control. It really is the ultimate in"plug and play" Tone wise. The pickup has a surprising power to it for what is basically a travel guitar- you might feel a bit daft playing it on a Saturday night at the Old Dog and Duck, but I guarantee that if you did, it wouldn't let you down. The body is slightly more purple than the pictures show, but its an attractive colour nonetheless, and will definitely get the punters attention!
