Contact Lens Diamond Modification Machine Grinder Polishing Buffer Radius Tools
Up for auction is this diamond modifier Not exactly sure what this is or how it works as it was found at an estate I purchased. I researched ebay and noticed similar items listed as contact lens polishers so it probably has something to do with contact lens's. I have taken plenty of pictures so you can judge the condition It looks like it's missing some of its accessories& tools as some slots have missing items I turned it on and the center polishing pad started to spin. I went and got a gold ring of mine. Put some of that white powder on it from the stainless bowl and was going to see if it would polish the ring or not. At first I just put the ring on it gently to see how much or little i needed to polish it, I noticed it getting shiny so I went and put more pressure on the ring onto the pad and then.I guess it was too much pressure ... morebecause the foam pad came off of the spindle. It looked like the foam pad was just glued on originally so I just applied some glue back on the pad and it did not stick so my polishing tests were over.lol.The foam pad will need to be glue back on with the correct glue or just replaced The little drawer at the bottom of the machine has some accessories& items in it.when i went to open the door. The side wooden panel fell off.I haven't had any luck gluing things so I didn't try to glue it back on but it is a super simple fix that i will leave for the winning bidder Anyhow.that's all I know about this It will be sold as-is and for parts or repair I will dispose of the loose white powder inside the bowl before i ship it out unless you message me to bag up the white powder& ship it along too.it doesn't matter to me.
