The car switches to different tops as it goes through the various parts of the set. Layout size is 23.25" x 22" with over 8 ft of track. The car is powered by batteries, and works sometimes, and doesn't work sometimes. Not sure if it needs an adjustment, but I'm not certain as to whether/not it can be fixed. I played with this as a child, and enjoyed it immensely!

Here are two 1930's unposted rppc of Boulder Dam. These were photographed by Oakes. One is an aerial view of the dam being constructed. The other is facing upstream still under construction. These are in good condition but the backs are lightly soiled and the back of the upstream photo has a small mark on the back left like a small damp stain. Please see photo. Vintage Dixie Banjo Ukulele All Metal Construction
Up for bid is a Dixie banjo ukulele. The instrument is all metal construction with a calf skin head. I believe this was made in the 1950s. The back of the peg head reads Patent Pending Made In U.S.A. The chrome plating is in nice shape and the tuners work fine. It will need strings as it has only two. The bridge is wood and from a mandolin but works just fine. Vintage FIREBALL BIPE Rare OT UC Two Model Airplane PLANS + Construction Article
I AM NOT SELLING A KIT. Only copies of the PLANS to build this model. The great publication Cal Smith on Model Building had the only set of plans for building a Jim Walker FIREBALL as a biplane that I have come across. The monoplane is seen in the last photo and the FIREBALL BIPLANE is seen on the cover of Cal's model building manual. I blew up the plans to match up with the full-size patterns that were printed in the construction article. The top wing has a 35" span. Cal shows a.19 on his plans. The whole idea was to add an extra wing to your FIREBALL kit. A knowledgeable modeler will be able to build the FIREBALL BIPLANE from these plans as Cal originally intended. The last picture is a FIREBALL plan page from an old magazine. The original FIREBALL had the single wing inserted at mid fuselage which is why I show a picture of the ... moreoriginal FIREBALL monoplane. I have been unable to find a copy of that old original kit plan. I had one years ago before eBay started and I sold it and a set of the original pontoons to the fella who was setting up a museum of Jim Walker's models and beginning his reproduction kit manufacturing. He has since died and his estate was sold off. So. This Mechanix Illustrated/Fawcett Pub. Company/ S. Calhoun Smith plan is the closest I've been able to come to getting you a usable plan. Remember that the fuselage was pre-carved anyway. So finding an early kit plan would not show any more, as I recall, of the fuselage than this plan does. I admit, this is not a perfect plan. But it is the best I've been able to do so far. I include an 80% copy of an old FIREBALL kit plan that was published in an old. Old magazine. I AM NOT SELLING A KIT. When I found this toy i needed my friend Martijn again to gather the information I needed: We were able to find ONE picture of this toy in an auction from about 10 years agoo. No box was ever seen for this one. The name is: Robot Road Construction Rollor and its made by Nomura in the late fifties. Its made in Japan by Nomura. The roller has some similarities with the robot tracktor. the robot used is exactly the same and also some parts. Pistions, handle and seat for the robot are the same but thats about it. The action and vehicle are totally different. In action the toy. well let me explain: There is a mechanism underneath the vehicle that can ... morebe slight forward and backwards. When put on. The vehicle rolls forward and when the bar in the front hits an object, he goes in reverse. when the bar at the back hits an object, the vehicle is shifted into forward action again. The robot is in control, the lighted pistons pump and the propellor spins to cool the engine. WHAT AN AWESOME TOY! Exceedingly Rare and Scarce. I think not more than a handfull ever survived. The last and only one was ever seen in an auction MANY years agoo. No information about the box was found. The toy was part of a collection robots and spacetoys I located in Italy some years agoo. The condition of this toy is good to very good. There are some flaws to mention: first there is some corrosion in one of the batterycompartments as shown in the picutures and the rollers have been repainted somewhere in the past by the previous owner. Futher the toy shows some playwear throughout and some oxidation on the robots head. The toy works fine and strong. All the actions work, light work, pistons work fine as well.
