The AERO COMMANDER design is one of the most rugged from which to make an RC semi-scale model that I have ever seen. The fuselage can be made as a simple sheet sided box. As in this SHRIKE COMMANDER model that was produced as a twin engine kit many years ago by ACE. The model uses two Cox Medallion.049s and the famous ACE premolded foam wings. In my old. The best example of this is Carl Goldberg's great free flight designs-which had full length sheet sides-were re-engineered to have the sides cut in the middle in a sawtooth pattern and then the two shorter pieces of were to be glued together in the middle. This also resulted in multiple plan sheets in the kit where only one large plan sheet was needed from a magazine.
