The accompanying images were scanned from a reprint. Not the original. The Bucyrus Company was organized in 1880. Until it vanished by being sold to Caterpillar for $8.8 billion in July 2011. Bucyrus-Erie had more experience in the manufacture of excavating machinery than any other concern in the world. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Bucyrus supplied 77 of the 102 steam shovels used to dig the Panama Canal. In 1927, Bucyrus merged with the Erie Steam Shovel Company to form Bucyrus-Erie. The Bucyrus 20-B full-revolving steam shovel on mechanized tracks. Was introduced in 1922. It’s bucket gulped a modest.75 cubic yard, but there were a lot of customer who did not have canals to dig, and the 20-B was a solid success. It was used for digging in quarries, building roads, trenching and lifting. They were available as cable shovels, cable hoes, draglines and cranes as both crawler mounted machines and"Transit Machines" which were truck mounted. Bidding on(2) sales brochures for Bucyrus-Erie Model H-3 Hydrocrane 3 ton-3/8 yrd. The first. Bulletin H-3-2, is 23 pages and in fair condition. The front cover is missing upper right corner, and has some writing on it like doodling. The back page has more writing and razor blade damage. Many of the pages are stuck together, see pics. The other one. Bulletin H-3-1b, is 11 pages and in much better condition. Has some water damage lower right throughout. Comes with(5) 1 page inserts. Up for auction no reserve! A very good condition sales brochure for Link-Belt Speeder K-370 K-375 models Form# 2260 3-53. Please see pictures and use magnify thingy Front is good a little color wear by binding. Back has some age spots minor stains color loss areas it seems the red ink was sprayed over white and wears over the years. Inside pages are very good no stains pencil pen marks all clean for age. 13 pages numbered the last pages not numbered just specs so in all it is 15 page if I count.
