This is a clean unit and in good physical condition. Unit goes through its lamp test ok. We ran unit throughout its frequency range and used a 1/4" patch cord from transmit to receive to check the signal strength on various frequencies. Electrically it appears to be completely functional, the monitor volume pot is a bit scratchy, though. Unit comes with a padded case, many cords and a Manual! This unit has the 001 battery pack option! It seems to hold a charge, but we have not tested it for a long duration! HP Hewlett Packard Agilent 4934A TIMS Transmission Impairment Measurement Set
Powers up and all buttons make a tone. Though I'm not sure how to test it for it's actual application. It takes a simple power cord to operate(which is not included) I actually took that cord from my guitar amp to power it up, so it should be fairly easy to find one for it. On startup it cycles through a few displays. One of which says"no err" pictured) which I take as a good sign that it works! Let me know if you have any questions, I'm more than willing to put it through any simple tests you may want me to do so that you're satisfied that it's up to par.

This unit has been taken apart and it appears as though the connector that plugs the battery into the board has been removed. Maybe it was bad or it was pulled to make another unit working. Along the way the handle was removed and we did not receive it either. The unit plugs in and appears to be properly functioning but it may need a calibration to be truly precise. Because of the condition it is in we're selling it AS-IS for parts/ repair. There is a battery included. But we do not know it's status as we cannot charge/ discharge it.
