And three inches wide at the opening but taper to two and a quarter or so at the"wrist' area. There's a little give in the material but it is my no means elastic stretchy. Possibly late 1930's? More likely 1940's to 1950's. They were white when new but are used and aged now. In solid shape. I see no tears, holes or pulls. Not even a loose thread. OK, I'm a guy but they look good to me. They've been in storage a long time and the folds have set a bit making the fingers look the way they do. They just need some tlc to straighten them out again. And maybe a cleaning. The hat comes complete with the original price tag. The original receipt(purchased January 24, 1950) and the original box. I see one tiny age spot on the right glove. But that's it. No holes, no odors, no other issues. My experience is that age spots come out with careful washing. Included is a pair of washable leather gloves Made in Italy expressly for Macy's(marked inside the gloves as well) Appear to have never been worn with the original insert, marked inside with the numbers 70 118 and 6 with a smaller 2, so size 6 1/2? They measure 3" across the bottom of the fingers with a little give and the middle finger measures just under 3" long. 2 Pair of Leather Gloves Although not perfect. There is still plenty of wear left in these gloves. I would love to have them myself but they are too small for me. These are a 6-1/2) The leather is still soft and pliable; no tears, holes or rips that I see. The unlined pair by"Fownes" is missing the pearl button on one glove. There's a smidge of dirt on the finger tips. The other pair is lined but no maker mark. There is some"yellowing" in places but I do not find it objectionable. I am pricing them low due to the imperfections, but well worth the asking price.

This adorable Vintage set includes three different items. First is a very pretty clutch white/silver brocade like evening bag in very good vintage condition. From 1950's era. No spots or stains.
