The well worn finish has stenciling and striping. The antique character has been preserved with a coat of clear lacquer. Hand planing marks are visible everywhere. Arms are maple. Joints have hand cut wooden pegs on this strong and durable American country furniture. Runners were flattened a little on the bottom as shown, but this rocker bench still rocks comfortably. Hammond Concert RT-2 Organ with Foot Pedals. Bench, and 5' Leslie This Hammond console organ. Pedalboard, bench and the Leslie cabinet belonged to my father who purchased them new in the 1950s. We moved from Dallas to Muskogee. Oklahoma in 1959 so they have only been moved once. I am selling them because I’m not an organist/pianist and my wife and I have downsized and do not have the room for it. If you’ll notice. There is a Deagan Bells keyboard attached under the lower Manual of the Hammond. They are also known as a"Carillon. There is a control with what looks like a slider switch for the Leslie as well as a Hammond control w/wheel for selecting different sounds. Also. Under the right front is a plug-in for headphones with a volume control. A separate amplifier that probably is for the Solo Bass Section sits on the floor by the ... moreorgan and is also included. I could not photograph the Leslie(I believe it is the 31H model) as it is sitting in a part of a wall-length cabinet that was constructed to house and hide it. But with half-doors that can be opened when the organ is played. It is 5' high. But sits on a pedestal and o nly a portion of the top part is visible from the room. A floor-to-ceiling end panel of the cabinet was made to be removable so that the Leslie could easily be serviced or removed. The following is some information I found regarding this model… RT-2s were in production from November 1949 to January 1955. It has vibrato on either or both manuals and an additional control for"NORMAL" or"SOFT" overall volume. The finish is walnut. Both the Great and the Swell manuals have 61 keys. There is a 32-note radiating. Detachable pedalboard. There are nine preset keys and two sets of nine adjustable harmonic drawbars for both manuals. For pedal sounds it has two adjustable drawbars(16' and 8' pitches) as well as a solo pedal division. One expression pedal controls the great, swell and pedal volume. The underside of one leg has extra screws going from the leg into the bench(pictured) The bench does have some small chips to the finish but is structurally sound.
