Up for auction is a Whelen LED Dominator traffic stick purchased new by me. No longer need it. Was working perfectly when removed. It is the TA series, Model TAD8RR. Whelen Halo LED system for Crown Vic
This auction is for a used Whelen HALO LED system. These LED's replace the factory inner marker/turn signal lights on a Crown Vic. During normal operation the LEDs are Amber and provide LED marker and turn signal lights. When you active your warning lights they flash using a selectable flash pattern. Being the LED's replace the halogen blub and are concealed in the factory light housing they are undetectable until activated. When the warning pattern is activated the light is reflected off the whole turn signal reflector so they are very bright. I was able to use these in place of grill lights on my police unit. Whelen TIR3 LED modules With Cast Aluminum Flanges CLEAR LENSES. AS PICTURED Used but light heads appear to be in good condition and they both light up and sync(currently set to alternating pattern) The flanges look a little weathered as seen in pictures. These are the 4-wire syncable models with multiple Scan-Lock flash patterns. You can find out more by reading the manual from Whelen. Whelen PAR 32 LED with Ford mounting brackets
I bought these for my Expedition. But realized I bought the wrong model. My mistake is your gain. These are not the interleaved fog with flashers. These are flashers only. These two light-heads will sync with each other and work perfectly( I bench tested them) They still have over 4 years of Whelen factory warranty on them! These light-heads can also be used in a standard PAR 36 rubber housing. Just remove the Ford brackets by removing 4 nuts as shown in the second picture. Each light-head retails for $150. It seems that one of them is not whelen(Not sure what brand it is) One of them has small crack in the lense under mounting bracket.
