Early American Ladder back Chair Primitive 1800's 1700's Antique Rush Wood Peg
Estate find in attic of old home. This chair has great patina. Wear and some of the original black finish. Hand carved square wooden pegs hold the ladder back slats in place and the seat bottom looks like twine. Also the legs of the chair each leg has 3 carved fine scribe circles around them. There is no nails or metal fasteners anywhere on this chair. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more photos.
