Thanks to the knowledge of some ebay buyers. As well as additional research, it appears this helmet actually comes from Newark, NJ. Ladder 1 resided at 191 Orange Street, University Heights, and was Disbanded in 2010. This helmet has small mounting holes on each side where there was originally a riot shield installed for the"tougher times" The helmet is in decent condition considering its age. It does show signs of wear, and has a crack in the back brim as you can see in the photo. FDNY helmets from this time frame are hard to come by. Don't miss out on this great piece of history!

These hard to find ladder levelers are amazing. They have rubber grip perimeters and different angles. Flat surfaces have a no slip grip coating. 1958 tonka hook and ladder fire truck
This is a 1958 Tonka that is in played with condition. Ladder fully works. But the spare ladder is not with the truck. Cab is also missing the roof light. Wheels caps are clean and they good tread and they roll freely. Paint is in good condition, but does have scratches here and there(see pics) Rear steering is missing. Hello Everyone, Up for auction today is a very nice old STRUCTO Hook& Ladder Semi Fire Truck from the early 1950s. This toy is in very nice. Played with condition. The paint and decals appear to be original and fairly nice. The paint shows a few chips and some small surface rust spots. I don't believe the toy was used outside much(if at all) because the paint on the bottom of the toy is very nice. I have not cleaned or waxed this toy and it shows a lot of dust in places from being displayed. As you can see. It is missing a few small pieces(one headlight, whatever was on the top and hood. And I believe a part on the ladder mechanism) but still is mostly complete and original. Look closely at the pics and ask any questions you care to. I'm no expert.
