Up for auction is a very large vintage Marx Lumar Hook& Ladder No.9 fire engine truck with ladders. This truck is in nice condition for it's age. There is some wear and tear and has definitely been played with but no major defects. This piece is all original and hasn't not been restored. The front bumper looks like it has been smashed in a little as it is touching the front wheel and keeping it from turning. This can easily be fixed. This Vintage Hubley Kiddie Toy#520 Ladder Fire Truck Measures 16 inches in length Is all original finish and completely operational. The one wheel to raise the ladder was gone and replaced with a bolt to make it operational. Looks like it could be part of it. The truck rolls nicely. The ladder raises, extends and swivels. There is some paint loss(see pictures) Not perfect but considering its age it is in Very Good Condition. One of the better ones for condition I have seen on Ebay Made in Amish Country Lancaster Pa. With the ladder on the one side leading up to a platform. What a great place to put an animal! The back wall and roof are round pieces of wood. There is moss on the top, in the center of the back wall and on the platform base. The posts look like real branches. It is a nice size so most of your figures would fit inside. It is really nice! The manger is about 9 1/2 inches tall and 13 1/2 inches wide. It is 6 1/2 inches deep. It is in the original box from Sears and was made in Taiwan. It's pretty cool. The box shows figures with the manger, but there is a big sign on it that says Not as Described, Contains Stable Only. It is in very good condition. A few of the cylinder rods on the front and back ... morewall have some splits. The moss is not evenly distributed. But that could be original. There is some wear on the wood posts and one has a slight crack that does not go all the way through. Overall it is a very interesting manger that would be a great addition to your holiday display! Steers and Pedals Well. This is a highly collectible old pedal car and in amazing condition. It was generously donated to us by the original owner.
