This Dept 56 snow village's Dad on the ladder hanging up the holiday garlands is a familiar experience for many households! I've had this figurine for a very long time and the glue on the ladder has become so brittle that it's no longer effective. My hands are too arthritic to safely repair it so it's best that the new owner take on the task. The figurine is is in nice condition but the garland has begun to acquire a certain"vintage" look about it. I've had many wonderful years of collecting and"playing in my snow village" but we're downsizing now and the time has come for me to let go of my treasures. Werner Ladder Feet (used on 1 job for 2 weeks)
This Auction is for(1) pair of Werner Ladder Feet. They were used for 1 job that lasted 2 weeks. Due to the fact they are feet. There was very little wear from when the ladders were upright and resting during manufacturing, storing, shipment and 2 weeks of work wear. in the pictures you can see that there is little wear on the ribbing on the top of the rubber padding. These were from the first ladder I bought for my new company over 10yrs ago! They sat in my equipment catch-alls for the last 9+yrs! Again these were used for 2 weeks before they were removed and replaced with high dollar adjustable feet. The job was at a water treatment plant and the material that is overspray on the feet is Coal Tar Epoxy and is NOT coming off unless you soak in MEK or similar. I am a contractor and when I get new ladders. I take the stock feet off in place ... morefor some high dollar adjustable feet and these are then extra.
