Beautiful Tonka Fire Truck No. 5. With working extension ladder. There are also two additional ladders on the sides of the trucks that are removable for play. This truck is in really excellent condition. Stickers are intact, wheels look great, very smooth. Great gift for your little firetruck fanatic! I believe this exact model is retired, so not lot of them out there in this great condition. In one of the pictures, I put a green matchbox-sized car next to it, to give some idea of scale. Up for auction is a toy/model vintage fire truck. I found thus really cool piece at an estate sale here in NY. It came in pieces like you see in photos. The body of the truck is solid over all some paint flakes but sturdy. I think the body is made of fiberglass or a plastic resin. Other than a small ladder I'm not sure what else is missing! The 4 wheels are there! the front grill is there! the big ladder is there. The only hardware I have are 3 of the 4 nuts for wheels so you'll have to dig up a 4th. Its about 2 feet in over all length. My original plan was to repaint it and remove ladders and turn it into an old pickup. A little time and few nuts and bolts and you got yourself a really great conversation piece! Thanks for looking! It has 16 round wooden rungs and is about 15 feet in length from rung to rung. The tie ropes on the bottom are about 2 feet long. The rungs are approximately 16-1/2" in length. Up for sale is the vintage 1956 Tonka Toys MFD Ladder No. 5. Fire Trailer Truck. The large metal toy truck is used, some play ware and aging decals, some paint nicks/scratches, a couple small light surface rust spots, not too notable, see pictures. The side fender mounted siren rivet is loose and the aluminum ladders have some small bends, the rear trailer windshield was bent over and the rear trailer steering wheel needs a small set screw.
