There is a light scratch above the adjustment knob and slight soiling on the handle. I have not attempted to clean it. 2 X panel meter geiger counter scintillation alarm radiation detector instrument
2 nice large 5" wide by 4 1/8" high meter face salvaged from NMC nuclear facility radiation monitor alarm system 0-1 milliamp full scale. These are good quality meters with GLASS not plastic faces in close to mint condition. The same company that made most of the movements/ meters for Ludlum produced these and the movement is the same 0-1 mA full scale. The movement would work in most of the Ludlum meters but the pointer is longer and would have to be shortened and rebalanced. Tested against a Fluke bench meter both are in good condition and do not stick or hang up they also have good balanced movements. Requires 2 3/4" mounting hole.

Old collectable dosimeter set made by Landsverk Electrometer Company model L-60 complete set with 5 extra dosimeter pens 17 in all. This is from my old rare collectable radiation instrument display. I have not tried it other than reading several dosimeter pens. It does take several batteries one for the light and a high voltage battery for charging/ resetting the pins and the battery compartment is clean with no corrosion. The pens are not self reading and require removing a plug/ end cap from the pen and inserting in to the reader/ charge. All of the pens are 200 mR/hr This a rare instrument which I had never seen before and you probably will not see another set like it any time soon.

I added one of my spare Geiger tubes and a spare refurbished meter ie I had an older ENI type meter sticking and I opened back and cleaned it up. It moves slow but works. I sealed the back with small amount of epoxy at 12.3 and 9 o'clock plus hot glue all the way around. See the photos. Light scratches on front of meter but no problem reading scale. see photos. Type Aloka, Model TGS-111, measures 8.5" x 7" This is a military-grade handheld Geiger counter with a heavy stainless-steel probe(includes stainless steel probe protection cap) The probe can be taken out of the grip to measure on the ground without having to get too close to the radiating material. Raycounter tabletop Geiger Counter, VERY nice condition
Sorry about the bad pictures. The shine on the Raycounter didn't mesh up with my cheap digital camera. Unknown working condition. Made in Detroit by Radioactive Products. Inc, in the years after World War 2. There are two large scratches on the front, but the probe is very shiny, no paint chipping off, no real wear at all besides on the bare steel screws, and even then it is just light patina. I think the pictures(blurry as they are) really speak for themselves. You aren't going to see another one of these pop up for awhile, I can guarantee it. DR M 3 radiological detector Geiger Counter Was used for the Yugoslav People's Army- JNA and to detect and measure the volume expositional doses of gamma radiation energy over 0.1 MeV in two ranges: 00:05 mR/ h to 500 mR/ h. The 0.05 R/ h to 500 R/ h and that uses a logarithmic scale on the instrument. There are two ways of marking scales: the older R/ h later with Gy/ h. Attached is a table of data conversion. Miller Geiger tube used is the Philips 18504 detects beta and gamma radiation. It is possible to select the opening screen of beta or gamma radiation. Although tube 18504 can detect alpha and the probe itself is a designer put a thin membrane with an idea to protect the tube window 18504 from mechanical damage. Determination of beta radiation is obtained by first measured with the display closed and after much open-and is taken ... moreaway after I get the beta rays. It has options for connecting the headset and connection to 12 or 24 V DC. And control the source of strontium 90 male activity that is on the outside of the bag. For normal operation uses two batteries of 1.5 V Type R 20 in the casing at the bottom of the unit. I am offering a very nice Anton(OCD) Office of Civil Defense Geiger Counter w/ wand type sensor with a reach of about 42” It has the“CD” sticker under the certificate of calibration, which is dated 1986. It comes with a nice looking headset that has the screw-type connector and about 36” lead wire. I have no batteries to test this item, however, it actually appears to have never had batteries installed even though it may have to have had them to be calibrated at least once. Very clean throughout with no damage other than very minor paint chips on wear points. The manual with it is# FG-E-5.9, April 1963. It has 41 numbered pages in VGC and seem to be tightly stapled, but the cover has some scuffing, especially on the spine and the staples are rusty. Please see pics and ask questions before you bid. Eberline scaler project Geiger counter radiation detector scintillation
This is an incomplete Eberline BC-4 beta scaler/ counter missing the sample drawer. Pancake detector, top cover, and one rear rubber foot. I set this aside for a future project and never got a round tuit the scaler part seems to work but the far left digit is not lighting but counts ok. I tacked on a power cable and fed it out a hole in the back not having an older cord to fit also a BNC connector on front to connect an external probe. I am including five extra led readout digits that I put aside for it. There is also a fixed regulated 900 volt power supply included which does work ok. This is a fix up or parts experiment as is unit.

Up for auction is a SmartION 2140R ion chamber. This unit is in very good shape. The unit measures background accurately and also responds to sources as seen in the pics. There is also a barcode reader that allows the user to log the reading at set locations. I have not used this barcode reader so it's functionality is unknown. The back-light works perfectly. There is also an alarm feature that allows the user to set a specific limit that the detector will alarm out at to alert the user. Which also works. There is a sliding shield that allows the user to choose between whether gamma only or gamma+beta particles will be detected. This shield can be seen in the photos opened and closed. There is an indicator on the meter face that shows whether only gamma or gamma+beta are being detected. Batteries will be included. This unit new is over ... more$4k.
