This antique brass fire hose nozzle is in a rare form. It is bottle shaped with the handle on the side. It is marked MADE BY PYRENE MFG. NEWARK N.J. on a flat part of it. This company is known for making fire extinguishers. Two sides are marked OPEN and CLOSE. The base is is marked N.S. 3/4" It has a 3/4" steel threaded pipe in it. That screws into the wooden base for display. The nozzle is 7 3/4" tall and 3 3/8" across at the handle. It is in nice used condition and the handle turns. Buyer pays shipping. I take Paypal. Antique Vintage Underwriter PLAYPIPE Fire Hose Nozzle-2.5" NST Threads X 30" L Constructed of cast brass with red marlin trim and a swivel handle. These tapered pipes were used on the ends of fire hose so the fire personnel could better hold the hose and direct(play) the water. These are still made today and cost over $450 dollars new. This playpipe is corded with off red marlin(water resistant coated twine) The cord is in very good condition with no unravel. Fray or breaks. Rare to have the marlin in this uniformly good condition and this pipe displays well. Good threads, no dents. good stamp, easy to read, see pics. There appears to be some white paint fingerprints on one side of the nozzle tip. Would make a great addition to your collection.

Large Vintage Firemen Brass Fire Hose Spigot Nozzle & Handle w/ lot of markings
This auction is for a vintage lower and upper fire hose nozzle. They look great together but are not a complete match. The top section sets and displays beautifully into the bottom assembly but they do not screw together. Both are solid brass and vintage and very nice pieces. They look wonderful together. When the nozzle is set on top of the handle the stand just over 22-1/4” Together they weigh over 14lbs 12 ounces. The nozzle section weighs over 5lbs 2oz. It is about 11-3/8” tall and at the widest point where it budges about 3-1/4” It has lots of great markings as can be seen in all the pictures. Where the tip attaches to the nozzle it looks like the flange is a piece of leather sandwiched between. The tip necks way down to a 1/2" water outlet hole. The handle secti on weighs just under 9lbs. 10oz. It says“NIBCO” DWV” 3” stamped on ... moreit. It stands about 12-5/8” tall and at the base is about 5-5/8” in diameter. It is in sound shape. Please see pictures for condition. Although the top and bottom were not made to fit each other when the nozzle sets inside the handle section like pictured it looks pretty amazing and is a great display piece!

The Akron Brass Mfg Co Inc Wooster Ohio Approx. 29 feet long. The flattened hose is 4 1/2" wide. Rocker Lug Couplings are approx. 3" diameter(measured inside for female coupling) The male fitting is no longer round and would need to be reworked to make a connection. This would have been manufactured some time after 1935 when Akron Brass was incorporated. Akron Brass began in 1918& relocated to Wooster in 1921. I did not notice any damage such as holes. Four(4) different vintage brass fire hose nozzle tips. There are no maker’s marks. From left to right nozzles measure 4 7/8” high with 2 1/8” thread diameter; 3 7/8” high with 1 7/8” thread diameter; 3 ¼” high with 1 ¾” thread diameter; and 3 1/8” high with 1 ½” thread diameter. Nozzles have patina and marks consistent with use and age. Second from left has a few dents(see last two photos) Please see photos for condition. If you have any questions. This unit has the motor and push button start/stop still on it. We will include the rubber hose that is still on there. However we are unsure when the last time it was tested or whether it will hold pressure. Probably 100 feet of hose on the reel. It is recommended you inspect the reel prior to bidding on it. 30 INCH BOSTON WOVEN HOSE & RUBBER CO 2 PC BRASS FIRE HOSE NOZZLEw ROTATING GRIP
This auction is for an antique fire hose nozzle made by the Boston Woven Hose& Rubber Co. The piece looks very old. And I suspect that the nozzle was made in the 1800's, but it may be from the early 1900's. The barrel has a few dents in it, and the nozzle is badly scratched and battered, but the condition is very good. The dents and nozzle head are fully photographed. The handle ring rotates freely, and the threads are all good, so the parts screw tight. There is a gasket in place in the nozzle end of the tube, and this looks like it's still in good condition, too. The total length is 30 inches. Vintage E32 Adjustable Fog & Stream Firefighter Fire Hose Nozzle LOOK! NR

I recently acquired a bunch of old firefighter equipment from a retired Detroit Fire Department firefighter. There are hose nozzles. Tools, masks, hose holders, and more. The nozzle appear s to be made out of steel I think. It is marked"E32 Pat Pend" The handle and valve open and close effectively. I believe th at depending on how f ar open you have the valve the water can be directed ... moreout either as a fog effect or a direct sp ray of wat er and it looks like there are marks to show what the stream is like on the side. I have not tested it but I see no reason to believe that this nozzle is still in working order. The nozzle is roughly 7.25-8.5 inches long depending how extended you have it and 3.5 inches wide at it's widest. All the items I sell are pre-owne d and may have wear from age. Use, and storage. There are some dings and dents and marks on the brass but this nozzle was used to fight fires and has earned the marks and wears them proudly. I am no expert though so I have not graded this item but I have taken pictures so you can see the condition and make your own judgments. This is an excellent addition to any collection. 2 VTG BRASS FIRE HOSE NOZZLES 10" AND 12" LONG~LOT 2~AUCTION FIND~DEAL!
Up for auction is a lot of two brass fire hose nozzles. They were found together at auction so I don't know any history or specific age. I believe they're vintage but there are no visible markings. Names or dates I can see. I would describe them as being in varying conditions. The longer 12" one is in good condition in my opinion. It's widest base-nozzel opening is 2 5/16" in diameter and the spout end is 7/8" in diameter from the outside edges. It's covered in scratches and has an original old aged patina. As it has not been cleaned or polished but it is fairly smooth. The 10" one also has a 2 5/16" in diameter base, but its spout end has a wider lip being 1" in diameter from the outside edges. It a little rougher finish I'm assuming older. But not sure, it just appears to have a heavier ... morepatina, and I believe there is even some paint or drywall splatter on it? Whitish here and there splattered and thick in one spot. For this reason I'll call it fair condition. see photos) It has not been cleaned or polished either. They're overall nice but I always try to be more critical in my descriptions and will not call something mint if it's not! I do not see any issues with the treads on either piece. They could possibly clean up beautifully? But many prefer the aged patina like myself! What you see is what you get 😊. I believe the photos show them well.
