for sale is an Akron Akromatic mid range automatic fire hose fog nozzle style# 5016 with an 1.5" NH NS NST(National Standard Fire Hose Thread) inlet. It is made out of hard anodized aluminum pyrolite so it is light. I tested this nozzle and it produced a very good stream. When I first tested it it had a torn inlet gasket which caused it to leak out the inlet. I replaced the gasket with one that wasn't ripped but it still has a slight leak out the swivel inlet. This just one of an assortment of fire hoses I have stored in my storehouse. Which is located in a rather remote area. I had planned on building a large pond with a large pump, to supply emergency water in case of a wildfire. I knew the first few minutes of a fire is crucial in suppression. I bought the hoses. I bought the pump, I bought the bulldozer. I never made the pond. All the water I have is from a well, and these hoses are too big. I do have storage bladders for tranfering water, and storing it, they are just right for fitting in a pick up bed. I have one of those listed on ebay right now. As the day progresses. I will unwind and inspect each hose I am willing to part with. I still want some on hand, with the bladder, a small generator, submersible pump and a few hundred feet of hose, I am my own mobile fire respose. Pair of Chemical Tanks and hose basket for early motorized fire engine
Extremely rare pair of chemical tanks from a 1920s fire engine. Most of these were sripped of the engines and the 1930s and scrapped. they are a must have for restoring your rig to near original condition. Each tank is made of nickel plated. Solid copper with hammered ends. Each tank weighs about 300 to 400 pounds. The scrap value of the tanks is about $2400. As you can see, they are still ganged together and have the original hose basket mounted to the top. Almost all of the plumbing is there and but the gauges are missing. Don't miss out on this. I do not charge a handling fee and there are no hidden costs. Here is a vintage/antique copper and brass fire extinguisher that has been turned into a lamp. The inside has been taken out and a rod threaded through. The rod and socket is included. You may need a few more parts to complete the lamp that goes up to the shade. This seems as though someone has cleaned this. And stopped short of it being perfect. There are still streaks and marks that would have to be buffed out to make it really shine. This was made by W.H. Salisbury& Co. Chicago. This is ... morea soda type extinguisher. On this brass label it also says loose stopple type. It is a 2 1/2 gallon and stands 24 1/2" tall. With just a bit of TLC you could have an amazing lamp. Note that the bottom strap has been broken. This does not affect the stability or look of the lamp. Please ask questions before bidding.
