100 Feet of 1 3/4 Inch Fire Hose - With Red Head NPSH Fittings
This just one of an assortment of fire hoses I have stored in my storehouse. Which is located in a rather remote area. I had planned on building a large pond with a large pump, to supply emergency water in case of a wildfire. I knew the first few minutes of a fire is crucial in suppression. I bought the hoses. I bought the pump, I bought the bulldozer. I never made the pond. All the water I have is from a well, and these hoses are too big. I do have storage bladders for tranfering water, and storing it, they are just right for fitting in a pick up bed. I have one of those listed on ebay right now. As the day progresses. I will unwind and inspect each hose I am willing to part with. I still want some on hand, with the bladder, a small generator, submersible pump and a few hundred feet of hose, I am my own mobile fire respose. This is a Red Head Brute bench-top fire hose expander for installing the ends on fire hoses. It includes the 1-3/4" expansion unit that is currently installed. It operates on single phase 220v power. It came from a local municipality that has not used it in a few years. I have powered the machine up and everything appears to be in good working order. It looks to be in geat shape overall. This auction features a vintage obsolete Dupont Hose Co No. 1 PA Pennsylvania Fire Dept patch- in new condition! It appears that there is no longer a Fire Dept called the Dupont Volunteer Hose Company No. 1. This is an old-style silk-screened patch. Back in 1981 my brother was a firefighter in Florida. Unfortunately. A fire destroyed his house and he lost everything– including the Fire Dept. patch collection he had started. Since I lived in a different city. I went down to the local fire department to get a patch to start a new collection for him. They surprised me by giving me a list of addresses for fire departments across the country who exchanged patches. I wrote to over 500 fire departments asking for a patch for his‘new’ collection and I received lots of patches in return. I learned a lot about the wonderful‘brotherhood’ that all firefighters ... moreshare with one another. I still remember the look on his face when he opened the box containing his‘new’ collection. My brother passed away recently and I have thousands of patches to sell– most in unused. Pristine, mint condition, and a few that are used. Old Vintage Fire Marker Oxford NJ Dept New Jersey Helmet Firefighter Brass Hose
Selling a old cast brass or bronze fire marker. The marker is from the Oxford. New Jersey Volunteer Fire Dept. The piece is approx. 5 7/8 inches in diameter. The piece is in excellent condition with no cracks, repairs or other damage. It shows normal wear. On the back is a place wear you can hang it up or screw it on to a metal bar. The piece has a emblem of a fireman`s helmet, ax, fire hose, ladder, hook- pry bar and nozzles. The back has the name of the foundry it was cast at.
