It measures about 13-1/2" long, 3" diameter. It was polished at one time and does have some polish dried in a few spots. It is in good, displayable condition with one small dent toward the top. Up for auction is an discharged antique copper fire extinguisher(without the contents inside) It was made by the General Detroit Co. It is a General Quick Aid Fire Guard. This was a UL listed item in its day. This has a really cool brass tag in the shape of a shield which you dont see all the time. There are a couple of little dings but nothing noticeable. The brass tag has de-soldered along the top. Be it very slightly, and it is not coming off any more. The hose is original and in good shape. Please feel free to ask me any questions. This is an empty vintage copper and brass fire extinguisher made by the Badger Fire Extinguisher Co. of Methuen. Mass. It is a water extinguisher that used a air cartridge to discharge the water. It still has the cartridge but it is empty. This is the 2 1/2 gal. size and stands about 24" tall. The main body of the extinguisher is made of copper and the base is made of brass as is the lid.This has been polished and lacquered and displays very well. The only dent I can see is a small one just below the hose nozzle in the brass section. This has a painted label as opposed to the brass label that Badgers usually had. This type of extinguisher would have b Teen used in Bell Telephone facilities around the county. The NFPA(Nat'l Fire Protection Assoc. ordered that this style of inverted type extinguishers as well as soda acid extinguishers ... morebe taken out of service in 1980. This auction is for a vintage D.B. Smith& Co. Utica. NY Indian Fire Extinguisher Pump. i only have the pump part. It does attach to a metal container. It is in fair condition with signs of age and ware. It is brass with a wood handle. Handle has some scratches along with the pump itself. It is marked both on the top section and bottom section of the handle. Handle does pull out so it can be pushed or pumped close so fluid would spray. Section which a hose attaches to it does have part of the edge bent in. Measures 27" long. I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get.
