I thought this box was interesting so I bought in hopes someone would like it. I do not know much about fire boxes. So please email me and I will try and answer your questions. The box weighs about 35lbs and appears to be in very good overall condition. When you pull the lever inside the box it winds like a clock. And you can hear it running. I do not think the chrome knob is original? The box measures 13' tall X 11 1/2' wide X 7' deep. I am quite sure the paint is original.

Vintage Antique Large Fire Alarm/Telephone Bell/Ringer
Numbered 992A inside at the upper electrical contact. Numbered on the back P132252. The dome bells look to be galvanized steel so this was probably for use outside. Each bell is 6" diameter. Total size is 12 7/8" diameter by 11 1/2" tall by 4 1/8" deep. Weighs a hefty 11 lbs before packing. Center hole in the bells is slightly off center so that you can rotate them and make them closer or further away from the clapper to control the loudness of the ring. It does work but I am not sure that it is working properly. I tried powering it with a 12 volt DC train transformer and it did nothing so I next tried using my variac(variable AC transformer) on a low setting and it worked but wasn't very loud. I'm not sure of the voltage needed so didn't power it hard as I didn't want to risk burning it up. No name on ... moreit but I am pretty sure that it is a Western Electric. It has it's original electrical and mechanical gear still on the inside. It could be displayed lying flat or it has four factory holes, one on each side where it could be mounted on whatever you choose. No cracks in the heavy Cast Metal. It shows below the tag The Autocall Co. Shelby, Ohio. Just above the glass window it has a brass tag with the Underwriters Labratories, inc Inspected Fire Alarm Box Private Sation no. 63142. Made in USA. The glass is intact and the little hammer is still attached to break the window. There is a lock on it that takes whatever special key to turn it. The pin inside the lock is triangular shaped. It is in an open position right now, but with two small screw drives you can turn that pin just enough to allow the screw inside to catch and lock the door. I would imagine a key is still available out there somewhere if one was to look. This was a brand new never installed with all parts included as Bosch sold it. We sold it on ebay and buyer lock up program after they installed it. We send back to Bosch under warranty to confirm and it was confirmed that it was programmed wrong. Bosch reset panel to factory default. So panel has no hours on it and is in perfect condition as you can see in pictures. Everything in picture is what you would receive. No manual no extra parts. There is no warranty on this panel! If you lock panel up during program and say we sold you a bad panel you will be charged the repair cost and shipping to and from Bosch and the panel will then be returned to you.
